🧡🍁🧡 Hello Bekah! We were so happy to see your video. We just finished dinner. Tuesdays are vegetarian days, so I made cheese & onion red enchiladas with red rice (arroz rojo) and avocado slices on the side, for dinner. Since Paul has retired, I've been going to bed earlier than usual. With Josiah in his room, Paul & I relax in our bedroom, listening to music & reading or just talking. We usually fall asleep with the music on. Temperatures have finally cooled off and the high country is receiving snow. We enjoyed this video as we sipped on our vanilla bean honey tea our daughters gave to us. That is a wonderful haul of spices you have for Autumn & Winter. I love how you use the Mason jars to store & display your spices. You also reminded me that I'm running low on some spices. You've added so much warmth to our Autumns, Bekah. Thank You!🧡

Oh I just love this video! I live in upstate NY & we live very close to the Amish community & my family loves supporting their stores. As I mentioned in your previous “Amish haul” I purchase their fine pie flour, which is wonderful. Our Amish store also carries fresh fruits & veg. We purchase our apples from them at $11 a bushel (my favorite is honey crisp, at just $14 a bushel) thank you for sharing 🤗 & 😘....

Usually, my husband will go do a large grocery pickup every 2 to three weeks, just because of everything that 's going on right now...everybody contributes to the list which makes it helpful, and I'll try and do some meal planning too...I can always do a grocery haul with actually food, water, etc if you like? I use jars for my spices as well. I love them! You are less messy than I am in putting the spices in the jars. Lol I have a jar funnel that I use. Otherwise, I'd spill them everywhere! I think because it's getting darker sooner may have something to do with going to bed earlier, at least for me. TFS, as always, just lovely!🍁🌾🍂❤

Your last few videos inspired me so much to do this and even my husband loves it. It makes cooking even more enjoyable seeing all the beautiful spiced filled jars. If you're into canning try using a filling funnel on the top of your jars when you are pouring things in. I buy bulk herbs and spices and vacuum seal them in canning jars. I keep a towel with me and just wipe the funnel down after every use. I try to plan it so the really pungent spices are put in last just so there's no weird flavor transfer.

Loved this video! Like others have said I wish I lived closer to Amish stores. When I lived in NYC there was an Amish farmer's market that I would always visit and I've never found anything like it! As for bedtime, I'm usually an early to bed, early to rise kind of gal but lately I've been really struggling to go to bed before 11pm! Maybe I should try chamomile tea 🍵 🙂
