You did great on this one like all scripts that I have heard of yours. Just a couple suggestions, give Simon some openings for tangents that have nothing to do with the subject matter, and include more difficult words for Simon to pronounce without any pronunciation guide. He really likes those.😂 seriously, though you are doing great work and I have no issues with the quality of your work, thank you for the hard effort and hope to hear many more from you.

They keep printing money, money keeps losing it's value. As much as they'd like you to believe, it's not rocket science. A 20$ gold coin from 1860s would but you the very high end full tailored suit. That same gold coin is roughly 3 or 4k now, which will still buy you a really nice high end suit. Value doesn't really change.

I grew up in the 80s. In the late 80s/ early 90s a neighborhood friend wrote a letter to the Pope and explained that he was Catholic, but couldn't understand why the Catholic church hadn't banned beating the crap out of women or children. One night, he came over, asked if he could sleep in my backyard. I didn't understand why, until I saw his wrists and forearms. The next day he wrote another letter to the Pope saying that if the church didn't care about making beatings a grave sin, then he couldn't believe in the teachings of respecting his parents and elders like the church talk every time he went to mass. He went home later that night after another neighbor convinced him. A week later, he ran away, never saw him again. I did get a letter 2 years later saying he got to his aunt's farm in California, and she adopted him.

1965 Catholic school, 8th grade. I worked at the church and one day was let out early to work there. Had to walk home to get a sport coat. Next day 2 nuns took me out into the hall and slapped me and bounced me off a wall claiming that I arrived "late" to the church. School was a half mile from my home and the church a mile. Yes many were sadistic.

It was actually 14.lol. removing the fingerprints was one version. In the first book by Anthony Bruno he claimed he left the body and for weeks he could see the chaulk outline on the sidewalk. He also goes from a wooden cloths rod to a medal pipe. Of course Detective McCabe NYPD has stated he investigated and found no murders or missing person reports from that time. Kuklinski then changed his first murder taking place when he was 18, got insulted in a bar, later discovered the man passed out in his car and Kuklinski lit him on fire. HBO even should pictures of the burnt out car in their second special. The problem was Kuklinski was 18 in 1953. HBO showed a burnt car from the 70's, so he then changed his first murder happening when he was 25 and beat a man with a pool cue. 😂

As soon as I went on it, I started having emotions and I was like nope put me back on the original medication; I cannot get anything done.

It's been recently discovered that a lot of anxiety comes from overstimulation in those with ADHD and autism. The symptoms of depression can be a result of chronic masking. If you haven't been evaluated lately, I highly recommend an assessment. Wish it'd been known sooner, might have saved a few years on the med merry-go-round treating bipolar and anxiety symptoms instead of causes.

There is a nicer way your classmate was an uncle. The oldest kid is born when the parents are in their 20s, then the youngest is born when the parents are in their 40s. By the time the oldest has their first child, the youngest child will be an aunt or uncle before they become a teenager.

I've been studying Richard Kuklinski for a little while and pretty much agree with your final assessment. However according to Dominick Montiglio (Gambino family associate and nephew of Nino Gaggi) Richard did know Roy Demeo and was at the Gemini Lounge one time to buy a gun. He was both a pathological liar and a serial killer.
@ThomasJones-ij6hv
@ThomasJones-ij6hv 3 ай бұрын
I agree Dom said he was at the Gemini lounge once, but I believe Dom said Kuklinski never actually met Roy. Other then trying to buy a gun, Kuklinski was slapped around by Demeo's crew for a cut of his bootleg business, but Roy wasn't involved in the beating.

Not only nuns, either. It was really common for teachers to smack their students’ knuckles w/ a ruler, to “discipline” them. My grandpa was ambidextrous bc he was left-handed, but would get smacked, by his teachers, for using his left hand to write w/, so he learned to use his right, when needed.

Simon being surprised that nuns actually hit kids in Catholic schools just makes me think back to being in 4th grade in 2009 and having a teacher who proudly told us students how he would hit us with a metre stick if he thought we weren't paying attention; and then going home a few months later with a bruise on my hand because I put my head down after finishing a test and said teacher almost speared my hand with the stick. I was too afraid of him and the other teachers to tell my parents at the time. He was finally asked to "retire" about three years ago.

I saw a video over twenty years ago of Detective McCabe NYPD who stated the producers of the original HBO documentary contacted him and when he told them he investigated his claims and was able to debunk most they never called him back. The Darkness Underneath Podcast on KZbin does a great job methodically going through his claims, he even has the Detective McCabe video. Dr Dietz (3rd HBO special) testified for the prosecution in the Scott Kologi trial from 2020. It can be seen on KZbin. He was questioned by the defense attorney about the iceman interviews. He was trying to discredit the Doctor by showing he was easily fooled by Kuklinski's claims about being a contract killer. Dr Dietz testified he repeatedly told the HBO producers that Kuklinski was lying but they ignored him. HBO made a lot of money off the three interviews. ✌️

One of the ways someone can be an uncle/aunt at a young age is if one of their parents remarried to someone who already had adult children with kids. Since the adult would be their sibling, the kids would then become nieces and nephews of the child who's parent got remarried.

It could have worked the other way round if they'd had their child at 20 and I had my youngest 4 years later, she'd have been an auntie younger than a nibling... We have such a big family that it's common for different generations to be similar ages 😁
