This is a really exciting release, and I cannot wait to check it out in their new Dallas showroom soon. I really appreciate hearing what went into the design and it makes me like it even more. I've been turning purple holding my breath waiting for Tudor to come out with a blue Pelagos 39, but maybe this is what I need? I don't dislike the Pelagos 42, but I want a bracelet (i.e. no FXD) and this one is much thinner than the Pelagos 42. I don't want to sacrifice build quality though, and if it's potentially even better than the already solid CW's I handled at Windup last year, this could be the one. Thanks for doing this video.

Great video, terrific to see someone from the manufacturer interviewed!! Is the 54 hour power reserve confirmed? I've seen different data in CW's Loupe magazine, which differs from the CW website. Less than Pelagos at 70 hours; but, this is a much better value. Great review!

Very interesting video with the actual designer of the watch explaining the decisions behind the various design choices. I only discovered this watch today and I'm quite taken with it.. I really like the gradient or fume' dials and could see myself getting one. I am a bit torn between the blue and dark grey dials. I might make an appointment to see them in person in the Maidenhead showroom. V glad it is just the logo on the dial and minimal text.. Well done Christopher Ward - hope its a winner for them!

Great interview, thank you. I appreciate the new look and the risk involved with going in this direction. -I don’t think there really is a watch out there that looks anything like this. -I really wish there had been a stainless steel version first, just to make it financially more accessible.. I hope down the line there will be more rubber strap colors, I’m not a fan of the complementing orange. Also, maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s a missed opportunity to do something new with the rotor design, it would be nice if there was some differentiation from other CW watched, the rotor always looks the same.

whats wrong with 41 mm? im i missing something? i dont get it. what is the appeal of sub 40mm watches for watch enthusiasts? i have 20/20 vision, im a normal sized guy( more on the thin side) and a 36-38mm watch simply gets lost on my wrist and looks borderline girly. i dont get it. where is the appeal for a smaller sized watch (aka-sub 40mm)?

This looks awesome when it's glowing. Not sure how much I like it from the video. The double triangle annoys me for some reason when they're not glowing. Maybe a 60 or a different idea on the bezel would've been cooler. It also feels a little too playful to be a CW watch. The black and orange look much more fitting to the design as well. I wasn't really feeling the CW brand until I got to try them on recently, so I wouldn't pass judgement on this one just yet, but it doesn't look as great to me in daylight compared to how awesome it looks in the dark. Good video though. 💪

I think it would, it’s slender but also looks in proportion, some early CW from a few years ago did look like a dinner plate on the wrist. This is more refined. Makes my Elite 1000 look very thick, even though I would choose that still over this.

@CasualWatchReviews

Once Will said it was a ceramic that made sense to me, because they are Matt and polished bevels. I don’t think you can make plastic look like that. If you don’t immediately look at and think it looks cool in the photos, honestly you won’t like it in person. It’s so unique and distinctive I think you either love it or not. The case and bracelet are amazing, more refined and feel like something special over the light catcher case, even though I think that case is amazing. But you have to love the look, the case and everything is just an amazing bonus but the star of the show are the dial and indices.

In the Fratello review, they wrote this: "One detail that stood out during my time with the watch is that the end links are slightly longer than the lugs. This slightly surprised me because that’s usually where the brand excels. While it never stands out if you’re not paying attention to it, it is one of those details that, once seen, can’t be unseen." This seems like an error, not a design choice. Is there any explanation here? Is it an issue of a pre-production model being slightly off, or is this somehow intentional, and why? I love this watch, but I feel like this would be the kind of issue that would bother me, I hate to say.

I have one of the original Atoll limited editon models (before the Rolex bezel version) with the 'lighter catcher' hands/ indecies. My take is I like the new bezel but how much lume do you need? I kid you not my Atoll wipes the floor with any of my other watches come lights out & we need more? As a holiday snorkel diver who never got below 10M's whilst hunting my tea with a speargun & have only used BA during training & a couple of dive holidays at depths of 30M's max use a watch bezel to time dive & accent for safety. Watches over 100M's are overkill for 99.9% of the population, la Last time I was down to 10M's was in Berlin so I could wave to my grandkids at the bottom of a tank through the windows (although no weights or fins made it harder to get down there 😀)

@@CasualWatchReviews Ohhh it’s completely subjective as you know, I’m just not a fan of the name being removed and them caving to consumers if that’s the truth. I see CW has discovered Lumicast. They're a little late to the party. I just received my Zelos Thresher Worldtimer with the mother of pearl dial, and it has Lumicast numerals and enough BGW9 to light up a room at night. And the best part it was only $649. Way cheaper than the CW C60. I have the C60 Atoll Shark White from CW and it's a looker I must say. But the sad reality is that I will NEVER give CW anymore of my money. Their customer service is just horrible when something goes wrong like it did in my case on that C60 Atoll. As a business that only sells online you would think that their customer service would be top notch with the right people in the right positions that suit them, but CW is not that at all. A company to me isn't about the products they carry or sell, but all about the experience and customer service. You can have an amazing product, but if customer service is not up to par then its makes the product worthless!
