One can generally trace the origin of a message by it's content. If it's an idea like "maybe I should maybe give a buck to that guy with the 'Help homeless hungry' sign" It's possibly from your conscience, guardian angel, or other heavenly personage. Go ahead and give him a buck or two. However, if it's something like "Your wife's not here, she's not going to find out, what she doesn't know won't hurt her." You should probably get out of there. Fast.
