I believe the headshot kill with the mic stand is supposed to refer to when Ronnie threw a mic stand off stage and it hit someone in the crowd and he got a lot of backlash from that a long time ago, and the zombie on top of the car had on a "F**K Ronnie Radke" shirt on that blew up a little while ago as well. XD love that he can take past bad things and turn them into a joke now. its a good little easter egg
@dae86652 жыл бұрын
Also, they keep bringing up the Mic Stand thing on TikTok. Ronnie addressed it on Tiktok recently because he's like annoyed that it's still coming up. The girl who was hit with the mic stand is fine, she got paid a lot of money in compensation and she and Ronnie are over it. but ppl really do keep trying to cancel Ronnie over that incident. He even addressed it like "yeah it was stupid, and yeah I don't throw mic stands into the crowd anymore, it's fine. we're fine. that girl has hundreds of thousands of dollars now." etc.

If you would like to continue down the metalcore rabbit hole, may I suggest the band Ice Nine Kills. The lead singer Spencer Charnas is similar to Ronnie in that he possesses extreme emotional power, versatility, range, and control. A good place to start would be “Funeral Derangements” off of INK’s most recent album “Welcome 2 Horrorwood”. They have an impressive catalog with many fantastic vocal performances.
@shawnobi77692 жыл бұрын
Really liked INK before this last album to me there was just something missing from welcome to horrorwood then I saw there was a lineup change and it made sense JD was a huge part of what made them great for me I can’t get into em the same without his sound in there.
@pacificdrumma2 жыл бұрын
@@shawnobi7769 I personally think W2H is a little over produced, it’s too clean. And the grit that makes them sound different than any other metalcore band was just slightly missing. However, the vocal performances on W2H really shine, and my recommendation was based on the function of this channel. My favorite INK is from Safe is Just a Shadow
@joshpurdy12152 жыл бұрын
It’s going to undeniably sound different with the changes, new bass player, ricky as another guitarist and vocals, and Dan over JD is big part of it too. I loved JD’s writing and sound with the band, but I feel like anyone can admit that Dan is a better guitarist. Some of the riffs and licks on Horrorwood were crazy good and shit they’ve never done before. I am curious to see where their music goes from here on out tho since I feel like they can’t keep doing the horror movie thing forever

The song/video is talking about much more than cancel culture. It's also referencing the media monster who feed us with lies and misinformation, and also how the social media network we've built for ourselves has us all believing that there's nothing wrong, when in reality we're just zombies. Like the cheerleader in the video who, when looking at her own reflection she sees herself as this beautiful, popular, loved person (like an Instagram model), but in reality she's this disgusting, rotten, awful person.

I think I'm the videos he's moving for cinematic effect, in studio and on stage I suspect he instinctually knows what the right blend is and has the breath support access control to do it while running a marathon without issue to audio quality. Also, they're incredible live, the audio is crystal clear, and I only had ringing in my left ear for a full day after the show. Definitely recommend catching them if they're ever in your area and the tickets aren't sold out weeks in advance.

Such an awesome reaction! I’ve become a huge fan of your channel Elizabeth keep it up. Could you do another Slaughter to Prevail analysis? Please! Their song Agony is out of this world.

Please check out a band called “In This Moment.” I’d recommend the songs “Scarlet” and “Fighter” as great examples of Maria Brinks awesome vocals. She’s also done a cover of “We Will Rock You” by Queen featuring Lizzy Hale from “Halestorm” and Taylor Momsen from “The Pretty Reckless.” “Black Wedding” is another great one.

+1 to this, she's done Spiritbox and Jinjer, Maria would be an interesting analysis.

Also "Whore" "Blood" and "Black Wedding" by In This Moment. The latter is a duet with the lead singer from Judas Priest

Also Big Bad Wolf. Would be interesting to se a reaction to the sort of stutter singing in the song, where it’s sort of like the stuttering in Rock Me Amadeus by Falcon

I agree, Maria Brinks has such a recognizable and unique voice.

The fact that you made the comparison to dubstep for the break down just made me love your channel even more

Cancel culture is for weak individuals, if you hate an ideal, challenge the person on the ideas, don't be weak and just try cancel them. Love your reactions and Ronnie!

You know: Poets of the fall: "Moonlight kissed" or "Carnival of Rust" ?

Glad somebody took this suggestion over. I tried to get Carnival of Rust and changed gears after a month or so. You keep suggesting, I’ll keep liking. 😁

She is so god damn adorable when she nerds out and reacts to good music, especially any hard rock / metal. Elizabeth your probably my favorite react channel on KZbin. Keep up the amazing work. :)

I would like to see an analysis of Howard Jones's voice, either from his time in Killswitch Engage or his other band Light The Torch!

Dear charismatic voice, i love how all these people im subscribed to are suddenly shouting you out from trybal to rob squad reactions. That being said now that they just reacted to Tina Turner - Whats Love Got To Do With It, and wished you would break it down, i have to 10000% agree
