I don't even know if you realize how much you're helping all of us Dan. Always appreciated!

Love it, Dan. I'm at the 2-3 year trading experience level so this helps so much. It's also so much easier said than done. I'll have to practice this trading style with fake positions and see how it works out.

Amazing strategy Dan, I came back to re-watch some of these grand oldies.. you are like a 'surf trader', as long as you have wind, you can surf through to the winning point! Brilliant stuff from Roni Gemron

Love the message at the end (re enjoying trading), I couldn't agree more. I can have a break-even day, or even a small loss, and it's still a fun day to me. Winning is better though :)

Hi Dan, thank you for your great content. At what time begins the first 4 hours candle of the day? In TradingView, the first 4 hours candle begins at 2AM ET (02:00-5:59). Why not 00:00 to 3:59?

Great video - this structure and the game of probabilities is something you can apply to all markets, obviously they all move in their own way though. The discipline to know what you're risking and accepting that risk is something I need to work on - I'm typically using hard stops most of the time because I can't trust myself to take a loss. I have been in a few situations in leverage where I'm blind firing all my bullets on a bullish 1m candle and just hoping for a bounce to break even, such a horrible place to be. 'Never again' is a phrase I've muttered more than once. Hope to get to your level one day!

Thanks for this video, really nice to see the play by play explained like this. Would love it if you could make a video sometimes about sizing. You often mention about % of your position size, day losers/maker and different account size... Would be nice to know how do you decide how much to allocate everytime :) Thanks again for sharing your experience

Do you use templates to enter trades so quickly? Is it more lucrative to trade that frequently, or is it more for fun? Many pros recommend longer-term trades (swings). Love your nature shots! I camp, MTB, & garden. Thanks!

I do not, I am fast enough and comfortable enough to with the order filling out that it works fine manually. I find my day trading consistently out performs markets and meets my goals.

Dan what a machine 🤙. Quick doubt, trading fees and market/limit orders (or mixed) and what exchange to avoid fees like you mentioned previously. Amazing video.

This is great. Question: How do you determine your "Day Loser" or "Day winner"?
@edwardliddy3 жыл бұрын
if your goal is trading 150 days a yr for $300,000 profit. your day maker is $2k. 360 days of crypto trading to profit 36k. your day maker is $100.

Depends on the individual. For some it is what they make at their job, for others it is the amount they need to live worry free

Hi Dan, Is it always this volatile when you scalp? Thank you for this trade review.
@TheFox8083 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dan that was great. I've found patterns on the 1 min timeframe to be too unreliable when trading crypto (as in they rarely play out as you'd expect), so I usually stick to 5 to 15 min. Have you found this as well?

Just a logistical question. You're watching QQQ on one screen and trading SQQQ on the other??? As fast as the trading was it would be challenging for me to constantly be calculating in my head where my BE was on SQQQ with every trade. I guess that comes with a lot of experience? Thank you for all of your effort always!
@ChartGuys2 жыл бұрын
Correct. If you have done the math 50 times with the same round share number (say 1k shares) it becomes fairly instant in your head to know.

The volume spikes at the end of the day are to fish for stop trades, correct? The stop losses you discussed are for intraday. Do you increase the gap prior to market close because of these volume spike trades?

The light bulb came on at the 7.41 mark, you believe the top of a bigger time frame trend is coming and you keep manoeuvring your position until you end up on the big one
