Dan is crypto directly linked to the NASDAQ? I noticed both tanked after Nov 15. If so do you believe that the market will tank again on Monday since BTC fell over the weekend? Or is this a delayed reaction to the market falling on Friday? Lastly do you believe we will test 30k BTC and will the bulls defend that level like they did when China banned mining?

What about the style that you add a small amount of money on every leg down (not selling it before some big bounce takes place) and with that lowering the cost average down? Only problem I see is starting that too early and then when the bounce happens you would still be in red because the cost would not be so much lower... Anyway, do you expect a liquidation flush if 28k breaks and V-shape in that point in time? I mean, if it happens soon, not if we grind down whole week to that level...

I used to trade these OSBs similarly but in triads with increasing steak as we find the trend change. It’s exhausting. Now I use a similar strategy but on larger time frames to accumulate for monthly swing positions. It takes a different kind of (zen) patience and blind faith (+ $/time) to ride underwater for longer durations. I’m still holding some ADA from prior bottom but missed adding at that sub$1 as I was not available. I will peel off position size on higher bounces as I expect us to then test $1 again. whatever I get stuck holding just becomes more in the No touch bag at these levels.

First, thanks dan for every bit of knowledge you have shared for the last 4 years... What are your thoughts about setting bids before going to bed (for the possibility of that last dump last night expecting more extreme short term oversold levels)?

Personally I would rather set alarms and wake up for more control. I probably had a learning experience in the past from that. You are welcome!

Thank you, Dan. I'd love for you to explain in a bit more detail what it means for the RSI to cool off. I assume it means RSI recovers back to more normal range and has already been so beat up it takes an even more extreme dip to push it below 20 again.

Thanks for another great video Dan. From what you're saying it doesn't sound like you have a stop loss for your core position(s) at the moment because you want to have that core position. Is that correct? Cause you mentioned below you don't put in bids when you're sleeping, so I'm just wondering how that affect this strategy?

I like the ammo analogy. I start scaling in with 1% orders then I go bigger as the price falls because it is more certain and the gains of the bigger orders offset the losses of the earlier orders. If there is a 10 or 20% flush in a couple minutes then I go nuclear.
@ZackZeysto3 жыл бұрын
I thought about disproportional scaling in as well. That is like Dans analogy of matching the agressive of bears. Waterfall decline, our exponential scaling in positions.

I really doubt that we will see a flush and huge number of liquidations at this point. People are using leverage when btc is at 60k (sadly) so there are not a lot of people who will be liquidated if we drop further from here. I think it will be much harder to find a volume peak at such low price levels. Even if we trigger stops that are below 28k, I doubt that it will be as wild as that 43k to 30k one day candle that we had. Still, the people who actually nail the low from here, will probably nail the yearly low for this year regarding the crypto space. Thanks for this video Dan.
@boccobadz3 жыл бұрын
Come on, long to short account ratio is still about 3.5 to 1 which is ridiculous when we're topped in November. Too much hopium still, but max pain will lead to liquidation cascade

Under 28k it's adios bull market for sure
@nikolamilivojevic19423 жыл бұрын
@@wearetheremnants1615 maybe, but how much can we fall below 28k? There are surely people waiting to defend the 20k area and buy the shit out of bitcoin. Best case scenario for both bears and bulls is that we hold 20k and keep bouncing from 20k to 30k and vice versa

Some green candles form and the RSI bounces back from extreme oversold conditions
@danielberman1153 жыл бұрын
@@ChartGuys Sorry, does that mean the RSI is starting to go back up. Is this what cool off means?
@ZackZeysto3 жыл бұрын
For people like me that want to try such plays, you can set in trading view your alarm also to the RSI, so now we are daily and 4h oversold but not 1h. So you can set alarm for 1h-RSI ~20. An example of BTC i calculated: 4 bullets/positions (equal size). Entrys: 31.000 29.000 28.000 27.000 Stopp loss at around 26.000. Risk around 9,6%. So if you play with 10% of your account (every bullet is 2,5% of your account) that would be a loss of around 1% of your account.
