My experience is worry does ya no good. I've feared the same as you and I've actually been out there too. Looking forward is really one of the most helpful things you can do to stabilize, cuz you the more your head's clear the better you are at the wheel, right? and strangely negative music has a way of releasing whatever shit's on your plate. tbh i listen to everything from death metal to pop. whatever rocks with the mood. it makes a real difference. aggro music is underrated medicine. get some of this in ya ;)
