@@CHSN-1 I needed help on this one, but I was lucky as (as far as I'm concerned), something unexpected was revealed to me. Even then I was still looking for proof. What really got me 'over the line ' as it were, was praying. And I don't mean just 'praying' I mean really opening my heart, speaking my confession and wanting Jesus to enter my heart more than anything. I just opened my heart and didn't just say 'I want to believe in Christ,' my heart, my very essence, my soul everything I am wanted it. It was very emotional and suddenly I just knew it, that Christ existed, that he died for my sins and rose again, I just know it. Since then I have found more and more evidence that he existed. What really helped the 'proof' side of things as it were is a series of talks and discussions from Tom Wright, well known theological historian, and all can be found here on youtube. To put this in context I am 61 years old and it has been less than a 2 weeks since Jesus came into my life and the more proof I look for, the more I find. I want to thank the donors who, I assume among other things, made it possible to watch it free on KZbin. Without doing so, I wouldn't have known about this show. The biggest thing I've learned from the show is God will give you what you need, when you need it. AND, I found this show recently after I started figuring out that God does this. People like to plan ahead and know what they're supposed to do ahead of time. God doesn't work anything like that so I think lots of people keep misunderstanding Him and are missing out on Him. I'll add that the examples that have been happening lately in my life are too unlikely to be a coincidence.

I love this series. Just imagine what it would have been like to get to follow Jesus. I just can't believe so many seen the miracles and still refused to believe. I wonder if Jesus would come back today and travel throughout the world performing miracles for the eyes to see just how many hearts it would change. This world could use Jesus to come back and show that Heaven is real. I truly believe it would change this world. I believe more people would be kinder and helpful toward others. This world could use it. So many are lost. So many just need to see that Heaven is real. I believe if the world could see Heaven is real, paradise would be full, and Hell would be empty. I wish and pray everyday God just give the non-believers a sign, a glimpse, into paradise. To me, just looking around at the world, the oceans, the trees, and even the colors are a sign. But some need more. Please God show the world that Heaven awaits those who seek you.

I really like the character of "Simon".The way he talked to Eden after the miracle of the Fish. He is sweet & loving to his wife; i was also touched of his concern and gentle care for his sick mother-in- law. I admire his bravery, vocal & being supportive to the team. However, Jonathan Roumie takes it ALL as "JESUS"-he's acting is extraordinary & remarkable, very natural, as if he is guided by the Holy Spirit. Thank you much Dallas J. for creating this. I'm trying to replay all the episode coz i really like it. I felt being evangelize by this, "THE CHOSEN".I've already seen S3E6 & can't wait to see E7&8, so....excited. What do you expect? The Messiah just came and saved him AND his wife from an impossible debt. That alone would have convinced Simon to serve Him, just from gratitude. Eden in particular might have been in serious danger if Simon was imprisoned. That one Roman from the beginning of Episode 4 implied he might go after her if she was alone and unprotected. "Think of your wife," he said. He knew she was there.

It has inspired me to get back in my Bible and is helping to transform me and my life! You are so right and it is such a blessing. It's unfortunate that part of the body of Christ is fighting against it. The minute they found out someone they disagree with has played a part in helping this show with property and fund's to push it forward they started fighting against it. My opinion is that God will use whomever he chooses to spread his good message and I absolutely love it. It's in no way a substitute for scripture but it is a beautiful way to show the world the greatest story ever told and the truth of the gospel!

It wasn’t that Jesus “obeyed” her words…. Mary asked her son since she obviously KNEW her son… Jesus said “it is not my time…” because once it started….there is a limit on the journey…. “If not now then when..l little did she realized that this started that part of the journey…. He performed his first miracle, now known to be his “first miracle”… knowing that he was beginning the journey that leads to “drinking of this cup..”!!! It was not that Jesus OBEYING Mary!!!

Yes, I absolutely loved that episode too, with the children. I believe that Jesus had (and has) a sense of humor and it was so adorable to see Him making the kids laugh and the cute interactions. My name is Abigail so to hear Him say the little girl’s name was like He was talking to me. Jesus knows our names. Isn’t that a wonderful thing to think about? ♥️🙏

I have seen all manner Christian dramas from the big budget Cecil B. DeMille productions to those at the other end of the scale that barely rise above amateur. This is better than them all. The casting is perfect, the acting superb. I had tears in my eyes when Jesus healed the leper. The acting from both characters had me believing it. Thank you to the producers, the actors . . . all the workers who made this project possible. This is long overdue; a story about Jesus made to Hollywood standards but without the Tinseltown agenda. And at a time when it is more unpopular than ever to be a Christian. What an undertaking.
