In 1990 I had a miscarriage with my first baby & needed hospital intervention, the day after I got home to my then boyfriend he was crying with song playing.....we have 3 adult children & 4 amazing grandchildren with 30 years of marriage together & we still listen to this song & think of our first baby x .

C'était un samedi soir d'octobre 1990, j'avais 17 ans . En pleine jeunesse, je découvrais la vie, les discothèques. Je me souviens avoir invité une fille pour danser. Tout près l'un de l'autre, j'ai soudain senti ses mains sur mon coup et ses lèvres sur les miennes. Mon rythme cardiaque s'accélérait. C'était magique, la première fois que j'embrassais une fille avec autant d'émotion. Aujourd'hui j'ai 51 ans et c'est toujours avec autant d'émotion que j'écoute cette chanson. My granda died today and this was the song we would sit and listen too. He would sit on the edge of his chair to listin to it. Explaining his love for my granny. And telling me how sorry he was towards her because he didn't appreciate her love until he lost her. It would grip him so tight. Like all the sadness in the world would fill him but he would always hold onto hope that one day she would forgive him and they could be friends again. Well tommy, today you've gone to heaven. I was sent the promo of this video on VHS when I worked on the West County Sunday Independent. Part of it was filmed in one of the most beautiful villages there is in the UK, Polperro. And other parts of Cornwall.This song has a special place in my heart and always will
