The classiest band of the 80's. The Christians gave us the coolest, most intelligent and listenable pop music of the day. This kind of protest music could have won them a lot of fans internationally and induced a lot of people to question the system, so it's no wonder they never cracked a major record deal. Too damn good.

The best band from Liverpool whose achievements seem to have been forgotten about. Recently saw them at Square Chapel in Halifax before the quarantine. The harmonies were outstanding, the background visuals of when they were younger was a really clever concept & the a capella was spin tingling. Go see them if you can when it all blows over. Their music & lyrics have informed my politics since 1987 - and Garry is a legend - so funny when he monologues & he signed my original cassette of their debut album. Yay!
