Some songs don't hold up but this is still classic for me. I was seventeen when it came out and Jarvis Cocker was such a style icon for me, so many good memories. Glad it's still being appreciated . 🤟🤟

This isn't the full version of the song,, and I don't just mean it blanks out the word screw, it completely omits the best, and most important verse of the entire song. Like a dog lying in a corner They will bite you and never warn you Look out. I just meant that there are some differences every now and then. I know English as a language is only one language, but the way we spell color vs. how British English spells it colour, or words that don't have the same meanings.

Hi again, I'm an oldie who lost interest in new music for ages until hearing a 'Different Class' and this in particular. It fired me up again to explore pre 1981 Genesis (Duke backwards) and melodic prog from the likes of Spock's Beard, IQ, Strawbs, Renaissance etc. All worth a look.

Yes, but that's because it's the video version of the song, not the album version which I agree is even better. There is an awesome top of the pops performance where they did the full song. But Jarvis is always most expressive in live performances of it, and there are many great VHS rips of pulp concerts on KZbin as well as more recent since they have gotten back to tour since last year.

Hi this one is a review, not a reaction. I was commenting on specifically the quality of the video, because I had seen the video many times, just not in hd. This was when Pulp re-released their music videos on youtube in HD.
