I have the DM Treasure Chest. Absolutely stunning and amazing. The hygrometer I got on mine was dead on, it's right at 69% with Boveda 69 packs, my xikar temp unit is +2% sitting at 71%. My next purchase will be an Adorini Santiago Deluxe.

@halfwheel- I have a few DM humidors, and I agree the humidity holder is terrible- is there anyway to remove it? cutting it? glue remover? SOMETHING LOL - You should do a video on how to remove it.

If the green foam is not great, why is included on this 800+ dollar humidor and even Eli Blue ones that cost thousands?

What makes Daniel Marshall humidors so expensive???? Makes me think a humidifier for $100 is pure junk.

Once they're seasoned, they're good to go? DM humidors do not need to be seasoned, they're ready to go right away.

The humidity box where the green foam is should be magnetic... and replace the green foam with those humidity bead things. I use boveda packs, but looking through the lenses of daniel marshall, a manufacturer of humidors, it makes sense. It means he is willing to push the company to newer standards but hey, im just a smoker and he knows more about these things than any of us im sure. So if he wants to cut costs by using green foam then so what...

These humidors are like Harley Davidsons..... you pay for a name that is riding on the coat tails of the greatness they once had. Now they're produced in numbers so high that they can't keep the quality in line. The shelf is sloppy, the wood grain on the outside is a veneer on the surface of spanish cedar and not at all that specific solid hardwood. they have to put so much finish on them just to make sure the veneer lasts. im not a fan of them. There are plenty of craftsmen out there that make solid hardwood humidors with highly detailed dovetail joinery and better hinges and latches even.

Can you recommend any? I wanted to buy a Daniel marshal humidor but I’m not a fan.
