I remember one night my parents woke me up at 1am to tell me my horse was trotting down the road as they passed him on the way home from a party, so I had to get up fetch some cow cake which is quite hard and rattly, to rattle in a tin bucket and go and find him, when I did he had taken all the small ponies that were in the field with him, so there were five of them, they were right at the top of a massive field [this is the UK] so I just shut the gate and went back the next day to lead them all home, all the little ponies followed him, he was such a naughty boy!

Naughty horses are the smart ones. I had bought my first horse, a half Arabian, half unknown. He was delivered to the boarding barn in the evening. The stalls all had just a simple latch on the doors. Well he knew how to open a simple latch so in the late evening when everyone had left he let himself out of the stall. Then he went around and introduced himself to all the other horses and while he was at it he let them out too. The owner arrived in the morning to a herd of horses loose in the barn. When I arrived he was in his stall and the stall had a double lock on it. The owner was not pleased.

@@joycemorrell1293 I got my grey mare bc she was such a trouble maker!! My horse 4-H leader owned her & Lady just broke all the electric fences & All the animals; horses, pigs, cows would run everywhere.. My 4-H leader told my parents how would you like a horse?! She'd come from WY so she was tough. Ten yrs later I got an OTTB, another smart horse.. They both made me a better rider! Especially the young TB!!

In once surprised my boi munching under an apple tree that was OUTSIDE the fence. He not only rolled under a wooden fence but also e-wire, he was a fjord, so his mane was a natural protection to all predatory e-wires. The moment he realized I was coming he got the biggest shock. They really know what is outside and inside of a fence. He also was able to ram his way in a stoic way through all doors. The horse of my friend on the other hand, didn't even cross a dead white band lying on the ground.

She's mentioned how she got Huckleberry in a previous video. While CC worked as a vet tech Huck came in with some severe injuries (broken bones, etc) and his owners couldn't afford the bill so CC bought him from the owners, got him fixed up and he's been with her ever since.

When my horse was five he had to have surgery for a bladder stone. I bought him from his breeder, who raised all their horses outside - they didn’t even have a barn. Consequently, Holiday detested being kept in a stall. He was in the veterinary hospital for several days, and when I picked him up his toes were worn down from standing at the stall door and pawing. When I got him home and put him in a stall, he had a fit about it. I had a smallish paddock and I electric-fenced the bottom of it off so it was about 14’ X 20’. He could be outdoors, but not run around and hurt himself. Every week I moved the fence back a few feet until he was cleared to go back out into the pasture. This worked very well for my horse.

Nah more like everyone comes to Tiny's senses that the shaking toy is hers; The owner of the barn, the ruler of the land, the big boss herself and yet the smallest member of the team: Queen Tiny. Hi,.i'm a new subscriber from Australia (73 yr old). I've had little to none association with horses, but love all animals especially those that have made our life easier in the early times. Can you relate to me what you are doing in rescuing these horses, that in itself is amazing. Close to where i live there is a (farm) that takes unwanted horse and train them, with the help of young people who want to ride, each given their own horse to love and relate to and become friends with. Teaching young people how to care for these beautiful and often discarded animals. Please reply. You know why you are doing this wonderful thing to save beautiful horses that might very much end up where we will not discuss. Keep doing the great work. Your old friend in Australia Al.

As a woman who is owned by my horseS, I have discovered many ways to get the biggest bang for my buck. (not literally...yet!😂) I do have a young mare I'm training so that may happen! That Thera Plate gadget produces vibrations. Cat's purrs are vibrations. It has also been shown that cats purr to manage pain and soothe themselves. Purring is a soft buzzing sound, similar to a rolled 'r' with a fundamental frequency of around 25 Hz. Maybe the Thera Plate gadget feels like a giant purring machine, and your cat does not want to share it with others... Maybe...

Sis, this has been sticking in my brain since I first started watching your channel. Skelator seems to have the horsenality of a left brain extrovert. Now, I am NOT advocating a certain trainer, you are exceptional at this! I do see the idea of different types of horse behavior linking to their personality. I pick and choose from different individuals their techniques and am always trying to learn something new to help my animals. Watching your channel is always refreshing and real. Keep going on your journey and remember you now have thousands of supporters!

So difficult to manage personality and energy in Skeletor! It can be stressful for you. Your 2 lil' fence cheaters are quite the pair! Their names truly fit! And Tiny is a terrific barn kitty! Keeping an eye on everything!

Horses are ten times stronger than humans they work best via cooperation. How a human and horse work this out is more an art than a particular set of rules. “One horsepower is a unit of power that equals the work done in lifting 550 pounds one foot in one second. One manpower = a unit of power based on the rate at which a man can work; approximately 75 watts, or about one tenth of a horsepower. In other words, it takes ten strong men to do the work of one horse.” University of Texas Austin

Hahaha! 😂. I love the thought bubbles above the horses heads. I put words in my animals heads. Glad I'm not the only one. Another great episode 💕💕

I don’t normally like videos with voice over… but I really enjoy your videos. Your narrations are informative, storytelling is on point, and I smile at your characterizations of the animals. I had horses when I was young, got hurt, started training dogs instead. The last 20 years or so, I have been clicker training my dogs to teach them to help me as service dogs. When you talked of Skelator needing more brain work on the walks, consider clicker training him to do tiny tricks as you walk. Target stick, curl his lip, etc., and you could reward with fresh grass if not treats of some kind. Now that I am disabled and can’t do as much with my dogs, I use brain work with them.

Your editing is getting great and you're putting out a ton of content. Be careful you'll get burned out. I love Tiny and Huckleberry. Vids about them would be awesome! "Tiny was annoyed at how loud skeleton was eating his dinner." Omg that was hilarious!

The part with the thought bubbles was hilarious. I watched it over and over! Poor Skeletor. This re-hab is going to be tough. He reminds me of my Thoroughbred, they don't relax well :(
He fell asleep! This tiny old horse LOVES it ❤️ and other Shenanigans
