If it helps I'm absolutely certain that a "Let's dress my Mom" series would do well even if she decided not to model them for the internet

Yup! Absolutely would watch! It would be really interesting to hear your thoughts about making something to suit the body and style preferences of someone else. I get very in my head when hand making or repairing items for others. And it requires different considerations.

Your camera angles when filming your other videos are magic, because I had no idea how cramped your space is. You do a great job creating a totally different atmosphere. Oh! And if anyone's interested, the wall snake would be easy to make with a toy snake, some wire, and paint.

I'm on team maximal, I couldn't create in an empty space. Maybe it's just a neuro-spicy thing, but I need to be able to see things to remember they exist. For dust management, I particularly like the Ikea Billy bookcases with glass shelves and doors. I can still see everything, but the dust is excluded. Thanks for the tour, your space looks divine.

The brocades had me drooling! The mylar peacock absolutely sings to me! I recently got some major appliances (new-to-me), and my house was turned upside down and sideways, taking the old ones out and the new-to-me ones in. It involved tearing out my full pantry. Bianca, I have no flippin' clue where my sewing machine is! I love the atmosphere that you are going for. A friend walked into my bedroom and said it looked like a tomb. I thanked him. Thanks for the tour, because I’m basically nosy and curious. I’m a maximalist as well and your sewing/creating room is very organized and clean compared to mine. I’d love to meet your mom, since I’m probably of her generation, I have a daughter your age. I think you’re pretty fabulous and very interesting. My mom calls me the stranger at the end of the hall because I always pick the room at the end if I can no matter where I move and then rarely leave it. As a writer I have never had my hobby so aptly described lol. I actually put on noise canceling headphones as well, because I moved back in with my mom to help her with the newest place and we have fur babies, plus she works from home. I loved getting to see your space! My room is less a bedroom and more a workspace with a bed 😅. Crossing my fingers that your house search will provide you with a ginormous room for your crafty space. The sleeves on the piece your wearing are awesome. My sister would fight you for that wall snake 😂. So many pretty pretty fabrics. I loved the purple and black ones you showed off. Thank you for sharing ❤

Very astute to compare a sewing room to an apothecary. Master Raymond’s apothecary would , I believe, be perfect as a a sewing room as there are many drawers nooks and crannies to store items. "I.... don't... dust..." Yeah, me either, vacuuming here is also a losing battle. I'm really bad for out of sight, out of mind, I tend to work in chaos with all the things I could possibly need within reach. Most of it's on the sofa behind me, I sit on the floor with my back up against the sofa unless I'm sewing on a machine... but my beads are in the basement, my ironing and fabric stash are upstairs, so I sorta need to be mindful of what I want to do when I dig out the supplies... my drafting tools and cardboard sewing cutting board are on a glass tabletop perched on top of the rabbit's crate, turns out to be the perfect height... though it's all covered in his hay right now...I really like the idea of fabric cupboards though, my stash is in two steamer trunks, one of which lives on top of the other so ... planning.required.... Oooohhhh, that black and purple brocade....yum!

Except for my very brief marriage I've always lived with my parents. At first it was because I needed them financially, but then it became because they needed me to take care of them physically. There's nothing wrong with living with your parents as long as everybody has freedom and privacy and respect. It might not be everyone's ideal living situation but it shouldn't be considered shameful, especially in today's economy. Also, apropos of nothing, people shouldn't be shamed for liking prunes, they are yummy and not just for constipated old people. Those purple and black brocades tho! Talk about yummy.

I'm so happy-relived to see video and comments of people like me. I don't dust, my husband gets annoyed at all the spider webs but I like the spiders eating insects. Thank you for taking the time to show us your work space, you do have a strong attachment to London, love your top/dress, i know its strange to ask but what is the area like where you live in and what is Joanne’s like or Michaels, here in England we have a shop called “Hobby Craft” but it sounds nothing like what you have. Here in England we don’t have basement spaces unless its an old house and mostly no useable attic space, property is expensive and space costs. Thanks again j

The area where I live is verrrry suburban, think the movie Pleasantville or Stepford wives but with less 1950's charm 😬

I would highly recommend getting a second monitor before your move to your own house. It's worth every penny! I have them for work, and it really helps with eye strain and sitting more comfortably. My favorite way to make them more ~aesthetic~ is to wrap fake ivy around the edge of the monitor & down the back. That way it looks like they're a more organic, growing thing, and especially on a maximalist desk, the ivy will blend in to the background and won't look out of place. You've been a big interior design inspiration for me over the last few years. I've finally gotten my apartment turned into the haunted forest glen of my dreams, so thanks! I wish I could share pictures with you.

My kids just built me a mother-in-law apt. upstairs from my house and I have a sewing "room" on 1 side of my bedroom too. Not as large as yours I'm sure. They now live downstairs and I am on the second floor. In hosp. I lost 17 lbs so have been the happy sewer so I have clothes that fit. I also like the 40s and 50s clothes and have been making clothes from my fabric stash since nobody wants it when I'm gone. Love your channel and even after sewing for 60 years or so I still am learning new things.

The minute I saw your “tropical print” I saw a 1940s jumpsuit. I think that would be a darling fabric for a long outfit like a jumpsuit. ❤

Another Butterfly! (Clutterbug), lol. I love the visual maximum aesthetic that you can walk through every day and see something different. My entire home (Skoolie) is a curiosity cabinet of exciting and strange things that drives some people crazy but makes me happy.

You have a great space! I sew at my dining table, so storage is always a struggle. But I see you fall for the same trap I tend to fall for. You create more space; you buy more stuff to fill the space! 😂

Thank you so much for thenlovely tour. I doubt this opinion will matter but I feel like that gorgeous iridescent lace would be great as a jacket or wrap because then it could be worn over different colors to show it off in different ways and allow it to be more versitile through the seasons for greater chances to wear. It would also be really incredible to see some scap from whatever project you do possibly used to decorate a hat? It looks like it could make a really intresing bow like bit or maybe even used in place of some veiling? This is where my mind went when seeing it.

Your dark and moody preference is the best environment for your antique lithographs. I very much relate having visual stimuli all around. Though much, smaller my atelier looks much like yours.

Indeed dark and moody is good for antique prints and for fabric so we'll say it's for science! 😂
