I have a background that's different than most Christians I've met. I'm educated in Greek/Hebrew exegesis,and biblical hermeneutics. I've been doing apologetics for over 15 years online, and have had many discussions and debates with Christians,Mormons/JW's,Catholics, Universalist, evolutionary atheist, and others. If you're familiar with Missler's teachings, you'd know that he taught apologetics,biblical evidence,that proved the bible is not like any other so called sacred writing. His specialty was also prophecy/eschatology, which is something that I've always been interested in. Missler was very detailed and technically minded,probably due to having a scientific background in engineering. So,I do have many years of studying apologetics,as well as historical doctrinal theology. Generally things that would be considered intellectual Christianity. Using this information is good for "giving every man an answer" ,in defense of the faith. In short,it's apologetics, but not witnessing. Being a witness is a legal term,used in court. It has to do with having an experience. Without an experience,you're not allowed to testify as a witness. I said my background is unlike most. And that's because my church background is Pentecostal/Charsimatic. And we aren't know for being educated in "intellectual" theology.But rather,we're sterotyped into being emotional,illogical, embracing myths and unsound doctrine,being obsessed with the Holy Spirit experiences,speaking in tongues,etc..That is true to a degree in my lifelong experience. So I also have experiences in receiving and on occasion, giving prophetic words ,having visions, I've been healed,seen miracles and healings,demons cast out etc..In the Christian groups I participated in,almost none of them had any experiences in the things I've mentioned. And honestly,I only encountered a few other Pentecostals in the thousands of Christians in these groups. Why am I saying all this? Because I know where you're coming from. We are called to be witnesses for Jesus. That means you have to be able to testify to what you've experienced of Jesus.NOT what you've studied and read about in books "about" Jesus. My testimony is not just "I believe in Jesus because of what's written in this book (the Bible),or the things I've studied about Jesus in other books written about Him. And this book,the bible,changed my life,etc. Unbelievers would say "so what".Lots of people claim some book changed their lives,for the better? Now your left with spending alot of time doing apologetics that prove the bible is not like any other so called sacred writing. And I can do that very well. But that's not being a witness. My testimony is I believe in Jesus because of my many experiences. I know Jesus from my experiences,and I know Jesus from the things I've read and studied in the bible. The most profound experience is one that only Christians can understand. And it's the Spirit,bearing witness with my spirit,that I am God's child, He's my father, as I'm reassured that nothing can separate me from His love. This is what I try to teach Christians,and this is what I tell unbelievers thats available to them, if they're willing to believe in Jesus.

But also look at the teachings of Jesus, where does he say that he wants you to sacrifice children? In fact the Bible says that child sacrifice is demonic, and those who sacrifice their child are worshiping Molech, a demon. Jesus Christ loves you, and he died on a cross for you, give him a chance and he will transform your life. It’s not always easy to follow God, and to give up your fleshly desires of money, sex, swearing, and any other type of sin, but the fulfillment and the purpose makes it so worth it. I think the most important code in the Bible is the Wisdom Code of Rev 13 18. It will take wisdom to save Mankind. I’d propose the following: An experiment to see if the Bible code exists in Greek, Latin and English translation of both old and New Testaments. It would be interesting to see if it would work in other translations, having an interest in the Fortean.

What’s even more mindblowing is that this is a mere handful of what are literally hundreds of discoveries just like this. That means it’s much more than likely that there are yet hundreds more that man has yet to discover. The Bible is a living book. It’s the Word of an omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God who is fully self sustaining. So the best time some atheist yells at you about how you can’t prove the Bible is authored by God and merely penned by man - send them this for starters. Another reason I believe the Bible is bc it’s a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eye witnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses in fulfillment of miraculously specific prophecy, and the authors all claim their writings were Divine rather than human in origin. There are a few problems with this. The most likely way any Jew in the 1st was executed by the Romans was with an "X" cross not a "t" or a "T" cross. The other problem is that there were at least two Christian symbols that came before the "t" cross symbol: the fish symbol and the anchor with a dolphin wrapped around it.
