Wow 1861 $20 piece, & the 2 Indians 61 & 62. So many gorgeous coins high grade, beautiful condition but no sticker, so confused. 🤔🤯🤷‍♀️

Some amazing coins, I have a hard time believing that the graders know what they are doing. So many of the coins looked undergraded. I understand if they have a spot or fingerprint that they won't sticker but come on that 79 s pl ,unbelievable....

That Oregon with the CAC is amazing. I wish they still hand-crafted coins like that today. Instead of the way modern coins look so "digital" - especially in the fields like that Oregon - soooo much nicer.

My guess on that righteous 26-D is the strike. Take another look and compare to most. That one is very soft. Very. Otherwise, a beauty!!! And I’d like to own it. Got a price? The 35-S is a great 65+ and should have a green bean, and the 79-S ms62 I expected to see a gold sticker and none??? What the actual heck man. Like you said, cause all the other 62’s look so much nicer I guess. Wow. SMH .

I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I have a feeling that stickers are going to be MUCH harder to come by now that CAC is competing with PCGS rather than just existing to endorse their work. I could be wrong. 🤷‍♂

Great video! Amazing coins! I’ve heard that CAC is even more stringent since the launch of CACG. This video certainly seems to confirm that. It would be fascinating to see what would happen if you cracked out all these coins and submitted them to CACG!

Further proof that the whole CAC sticker thing is ridiculous. If I'm PCGS or NGC, I would start a sticker service for evaluating CAC-graded coins. Many of the coins that didn't get beaned were outstanding.

It is interesting how results vary. I have seen another channel get as many golds as you get green beans and greens on 85%+ of the submissions.

CAC stickers are nice if the seller has taken poor pictures of the coin for an online auction. I'm more likely to put in a decent bid for such a coin because it's almost certain to have good eye appeal and not have ugly toning or spotting. To me, a CAC sticker is more an "eye appeal" sticker than a "grading" sticker.

Hi, Ben. I like the 1875 Proof Seated Half Dollar toning and the 1889 Proof Morgan Dollar. The 1914 Eagle sure looks like it should have stickered. The 1881 Proof Seated Dime is gorgeous. It should have stickered. The 97-S Morgan in PL should have gotten a gold sticker. I like the subtle toning on the 1922 and 1928 Peace Dollars. The 1921 Peace Dollar should have stickered. I like the toning on the Pan Pac Half Dollar. I like the 1893 Isabella Quarter. The Cincinnati Half is nicely toned. I could see a star on the mysterious O between the E and the O on the 1881-S Morgan. I like that coin. The 1887 Morgan has nice toning/crustiness. The 1882-S Morgan is gorgeous. The fingerprint in the hair held it back from stickering. I like the crescent toning on the reverse of the 1881-S Morgan that stickered. The 1880-S PL Morgan has nice obverse toning. I like the 1901 V Nickel. Maybe the wart on Liberty's chin kept it from stickering. I like the grunge on the second 1921 Peace Dollar. My MS64 1921 Peace Dollar has some neat toning. I wonder if it would sticker. I may ask you to send it in for me. I like the toning on the 1879-S Morgan. The W on the 1955 Washington stands for What??? I like the 1879-S PL. I would grade it a 63. I like it better than the 1898 DMPL. I was very concerned when you said you would get something other than your finger to judge the mirrors. I like the 1962 Rosey that they wouldn't accept. Nice toning on that one. I like Ike. Especially that 1976-S Silver Dollar. I like the MS silvers. I like the toning on the 1945-S Walker. That 1925 Norse Medal is all right looking. You should sell me that one cheap because it is so low for the grade. The 1883-CC Morgan in the GSA holder is sweet. Overall, my impression of these results is... *NO SUGAR FOR YOU!* THANKS.

I'm even more confused with CAC now. And I could definitely feel your pain with several of those..too many to list. The heartbreak opening these had to have been tremendous. On a more positive note, my goodness, there were some beautiful fatboy Morgan/Peace $$$ in this video. Alas, I'm a poor and busted retiree ..so I can only dream of having them.

I wonder how many of those coins did not sticker due to residue being detected on the coin? Listening to Mr. Albanese’s interview on Witter Coin’s channel he said many of the older holders fail to get the bean due to PVC that was missed at the time of originally holdering the coin.

This video was a very good example of why the cac tax is silly. You can purchase just as nice a example without the sticker for significantly less. So what value does it really add.🤷‍♂️

Maybe you've addressed this in a previous video, but with CAC, I'd like to know if the awarding of a sticker is a single person's decision, or does it have to be approved by a grader's supervisor? Is there a final committee that all nominees for stickers are sent to? Or does just one person sit there and think, "Yep, Mr. Geek's coin is nice -- but not nice enough."

That 62PL not stickering is highway robbery. Not trying to dwell on the negative of it but damn... Edit: I think the reason they won't sticker the PCGS sample slabs is they don't have unique S/Ns. The NGC samples did.

No comment on that 108- certification number? My understanding is that only gen 1.0 and 1.1 white label PCGS holders had a 108 prefix, that must have been an old time re-holder but still probably very desirable. I do see that you put it in the thumbnail though ;)

I have a question on these coins that did not sticker. How do you absorb the cost associated with the coins that didn't sticker? This happened to me. I sent in 15 coins to CAC and got 3 back with stickers. I honestly felt that most of them should have stickered. I won't resubmit though. It's a simple matter of cost vs. the coins value.

The glaring contradiction in grading is that you have illustrated here and in previous videos many coins that are up or downgraded from service to service by anywhere from 1-3 points (even within the same service). If the services cannot agree consistently if a coin is MS63 or MS64 for example, what possible hope is there for a consistent CAC designation which essentially means they insist they can tell an MS63 from an MS63+? This hairsplitting only exists because there are some large and irrational price increases on a one point difference on the scale. Take any MS coin, and there is still enough subjectivity in the grading that it is not unreasonable that a 1 point difference can be justified even among very experienced dealers--strike, toning, lustre are aestetic factors that just can't be objectified completely. You may love a toned coin--I may love a blast white coin; beauty and ultimade grade is still, to some degree, in the eye of the beholder.

Frustrating video to watch. We are all left to guess why coins don’t sticker. What type of business doesn’t educate their customers except by rejection? JA is known for his strict stance on gold coins but you’ll never convince me many of the rest of the fails weren’t A or B coins.

The new CAC Grading slabs have a “green bean” emblem as part of the holder, however it’s not a sticker which is applied onto the outside of the holder.
