Honestly, the bootleg is so well produced that I would take it at discount price over the real thing at aftermarket prices. I had a bootleg NECA figure of Altaïr from Assassin's Creed for years without ever knowing it was a fake. I found out one day after comparing it to a friend's and realizing the face looked much better on his. That tends to be the one part that's most noticeably worse on these, is the face. But hey, Jason's got a mask, so that doesn't even matter for him.

Depends on which one your talking about. The Real came Directly from Neca and the fake came from China on Ebay.

I buy a lot of my figures in Japan when it’s too costly to import them, and I’ve noticed that many NECA boxes are sealed with round tape instead of square. Why would that be? Does NECA seal off the boxes before shipping or does the retailer do that?

I make dioramas for them and Modify them. The Chucky one I made him busting out of the Good Guys Box an turned out pretty cool.

I have some fakes. I just display them with the alternative heads etc. It's getting harder to tell. The print on the box is always faint and the figures hands or limbs are really loose.

What’s with people in the comment section refusing to believe one is a KO release, just because they’re identical 🤔. Are they getting butt hurt because they spent much more for something that you can’t really tell the difference with?? It truly doesn’t make sense why people get on the defensive without reason. It’s uncalled for! I’d like to see them take time out and upload a video to KZbin for everyone else’s benefit! To cut straight to the point, I saw your video and decided to go with a knockoff (I rarely do this) and it’s perfect. I’ve looked at them side by side with a friends official one and we cannot tell a difference really. He paid £30 and I paid £10. So that’s roughly $8. Thank you for the video 🙏🏻

Depends on if you want the real or fake lol. Fakes are from china on ebay, amazon, wish, alibaba and Aliexpress. The real ones you can buy directly from Neca on Ebay and Amazon or shop Walmart, Gamestop and Target.

I think you miiiiight be splitting hairs with this one. Colour of the boxes do change colour depending on where they are stored and paint jobs between figures are NEVER the same. Everything here checks out with me. There's no actual evidence here that proves one is fake. There is usually a tell such as extra writing or lack of writing and there was non of that, but SLIIIIIGHT differences which there always is anyway on everything. I think you might just be trolling people and spreading paranoia among collectors.

I am a collector an would never troll people. I've gotten this one from the same company I got ones that are horrible. The newer figures have been very close to the real. I always say I am showing what I received. This figure was purchased from the same place I got the mafex spiderman an that's 100% a fake. The factories that produce neca figs are in China, so a lot of the workers tend to steal figures that are defective from the mold and can’t be sold in stores, and paint in details themselves. Hence a lot of knockoffs have horrible paint quality and fresh smell of a strong resin from the box.
