100% correct on mom / grandma leaving out stuff. mom is passed now, but reading the recipe card she wrote for me says "add if you want" like come on, do I or don't I want it mom? made me smile, great vid. Id love a layout of all of the ingredients for a meal at the beginning/end would be sick. or a corresponding written blog to go over it.

Donnie is the closest thing to a “perfect line cook” having his own show. That’s why I respect him. You can tell he’s been in the trenches at least a couple of times. Like I always say, dude gets it. I’d hire him in a heartbeat but he’s too good for the kitchen grind and he’s right where he needs to be. Dave made the right choice keeping him around

I remember like 5 years ago I wasn't necessarily a chef Donny fan, he won me over a while ago. Loved his Instagram content last summer, love this series, love that he seems like a very solid dude with a good head on his shoulder. I bet low key probably one of the hardest working people at barstool. Cheers Donny keep up the good work! Also as a former skater, and current skier and snowboarder, I appreciate the actions sports stuff he does

Cook some Persian food. People sleep on that and it's some of my favorite food. I live in Iowa and you can't even get it here unless you know a family. Chicago has a couple good spots that I've been to so hit one up for a take on it.

Two more iconic foods from Chicago are our hotdogs anb Italian beef. Both can be found at Portillos. Also most Chicagons don't care for deep dish. We only go if suburbanites or people out of town want to try it. New york has better pizza.. I was born and raised in Chicago and lived in NY for a little over a year
