Important note for casual players: You dont need to sweat doing all these. This video is all about how to get hero tier gear which is useless for your targeted audience that needs this guide. People have to understand that both champion and hero gears need M+9 crest to upgrade past 619. So if you are not doing M+9, your champion gear is as good as hero gear. And i assume players doing m+9 and above wont even need this guide to progress. As every piece that drop for them is already at hero track. Tldr: if you are not doing m+9 and above, you dont need hero track gear. Champion is as good.

Btw i stop to play mythic+ long time ago people's raging they are so toxic they leave group etc. Now i am chiling, doing random stafs, doing delves solo content and i enjoy. One time a weak doing raid with guilds and that is it. Peoples hurry up to gear up for no reason then they burn out.

I swear blizz should implement a hidden loot chance boost. Like every dungeon you run without a drop increaes your drop chance by 30% or something like this. I should not be doing 3 dungeons and get zero items. This is ridiculous. Not to mention the last couple runs were bricked by people not knowing mechanics and im left alone to either try and solo a boss or wipe and retry. Its so annoying to not only not upgrade my key, but then in turn not get any reward for doing my key. I have to lead the groups, call out mechanics, cover for teammates not doing mechanics, rack up a massive repair bill, deal with the frustration of people not listening, deal with multiple unavoidable wipes, people not using line of sight, and a bricked key. All so i can get 10 stones and 180g, which doesn't even cover my repair bill sometimes. Just make it worth it Blizz pls!

Doing Mythic 3s and Delve T8s right now seems to be the best investment of time for output. Those two tracks will stock your vault with heroic options. I doubt the average player can push +7s right now. The damage is incredibly high as they are equivalent to old 17s and the room for error is incredibly low, there are many mechanics that do well over 6 million damage.

Overall good video. I do disageee with mythic + take. I think doing +2-+4 can be a good start to work your mythic score up. Beacuse people look at ilvl and mythic score on pugs when they invite people. Obviosly if u have a core group by all means push +7 keys. +4 is also a good way to farm crests for even higher ilvl upgrades on your gear.

M+ is a waste of time if you don't have a dedicated group The reward to effort/time ratio is so bad these days. Champion gear is a joke now, even weeklies are giving hero gear. Unless you're getting m8+ badges and mythic bosses, then champion 8/8 4/8 heroic is more than fine to do 95% of the content. Then wait on easy heroic raid bosses and vaults for heroic bases. You can slowly get mythic crests too in heroic clears, and just use those on weapons/trinks. M+ scene has never been so frustrating for pugging, people can't clear low tier keys as 610ilvl. You do really need a bunch of friends/guildies you trust to do them to get your IO rolling. Delves also are amazing to get alts up now, just floods of champion gear everywhere.

Absolutely not true. There are new badges mounts coming out. These mounts are 5k badges each. So, you have to run time walkers to get the mounts, toys, and old rep tokens. Not to mention the new trnsmogs.

So I just hit max level my paladin, did some weekly stuff casually then jumped into a time walking had people give me loot got those 2 caches and bought green gear in the slots I didn't have. Then upgraded those to 580, and am 586 in one night 😂 ready for normal on the alt retail gearing is definitely the best it's ever been I think the expansions gonna be quick that's why they're doing it like this

I tested this and wow, it does indeed work! I got a 619 dagger crafting order for my rogue, then I did the 5 timewalking dungeons and boom, got a 619 trinket from the treasure chest, then I got a 589 from the world quests and another from a bountiful delve. That's the key here it seems, get a 619 weapon then collect and open as many chests as you can.

Done it 4 times. Even on a character I dinged a couple of hours earlier who was only about 580 ilvl. Had no issues finding an invite. It's so easy to gear upto that level now with all the "free" 580 ish pieces you get from quartermasters and warbound items you pick up.

The event is over but generally speaking, people shouldn't be rejecting you because of your item level considering it all scales down to ilvl 75 (until 11.0.5). I know it happens anyway, I apply while wearing azerite, old tier, trinkets, and other stuff that's technically BiS for timewalking, and when I get rejected I just assume the raid leader is a clown

Got a hero piece from my vault (616 from tier 8 delves) & another (610) from the weekly black temple raid quest. As much as I like the crafting gear, you're unable to upgrade it but it can be a huge upgrade for a piece you just can't get to drop, and the gold cost for the mats can be tough to swallow unless gold isn't a problem. Currently at 606 ilvl mostly thanks to tier 8 bountiful delves!

I got a 613 cloak from the 5 timewalking quest because it was 6/8 upgraded on receiving it via RNG. It was actually higher ilvl than the 610 item I got from the Illidan kill.

Raiderio is everything. Its not about the loot. That score will get you into higher m plus later on. And the gear is heroic or mythic quality and can be upgraded. The currentcy to upgrade mythic comes from level 8 delves or mythic plus 4. m plus in my opinion is not a waste of time.

For the PVP gear, you didn't mention one important thing. Pick up the epic BG quest (to get some conquest to turn in for a 10th heraldry) win an epic bg, it gives you a quest called "calling all gladiators" turning that in gives you 9 free epic heraldries. Also, the Radiant Echoes you get from the delves, using 5-10 on a world soul in a full raid group will grant 400+ valorstones and 200 ish key fragments, enough for 2 more keys with about 5 min of effort. Don't run those solo.

Unless you're skipping straight to 9's, then champion gear upgrades to the same level as hero gear (619) so telling people to skip 2-6 and go straight to 7 without any experience is definitely a loserbrain move. If you're 600+ from bountiful delves on an alt and you know what you're doing then sure but otherwise if you're new then just learn the dungeons at 5's.

Great info........but. HUH!? I tried to solo a Delve 8 and got wasted 3 times just trying to get to the first boss. You need a minimum of 600IL to even attempt a Delve 8. That means, yes queuing up for Low level mythics to get your gear upgraded to even attempt those. Sure if you are lucky with your weekly turn in's and get Champion level gear, it becomes a major management nightmare figuring out what piece of gear are worthwhile to upgrade i.e. Champion, and others you should do slight upgrades to as you work your way up to higher IL gear. I am not complaining I think Blizzard did a great job with this expansion but I really hate making the management mistake of spending stones on gear only to find out the following week in my vault I get the same piece. Just like this week a full vault and I get a slightly useful piece of gear that was replaced in a Mythic 3. Go figure.

Gonna follow up here that, before the current iteration, I was able to solo up to T7 delves on Arcane around 580ilvl,, at 590ilvl on the current patch, I've been able to pretty easily solo T8s. Healer Brann, carry your delve pots for emergencies, and pull smart/bring cheap utility pots to cover class weakness (something like low tier invis pots can be bought for under 1g ea, water breathing pots are nice too), pull small and only fight what you need to and be liberal with your cooldowns, easier to wait 60-90s for another pull then die and repeat the delve.

To me at least it's not worth running a bountiful delve without a key and a map so you can get two pieces of gear over just one and bountiful delves I think give you the higher gear score also.

I got my chest piece hero level from time walking and then I converted to a tier piece now I have two pieces of tier gear. Got upgrade piece in raid finder this week i went from 570-583 ilvl half my gear is the honor pvp gear so it's hopefully i can keep upgrading gear i need

on top of that TW Black Temple bosses will drop 597 loots as well. You'd probably only need like 1.5 hrs to clear it so it's REALLY worth it.

Delver's Bounty has around a 5% chance to drop. Consider that you probably already have better gear in that slot. Let's say you need 15 minutes to clear a delve. That is 5 hours of grinding for a 610 piece that you probably do not need. Not exactly a good bang for your buck. Besides, gear is meaningless. Ilvl600 is more than enough to complete all +10s intime, and you probably already have 610+ average ilvl or higher from solo content from the previous week of the game.

What i dont agree with is, these items used for crafting to bump up the item levels.. for randomized stats.. its seems like a waste to use a bumping reagent.. when the item gets crafted with crap stats not meant for the spec's optimization

I am 613 assa rogue with full tier set and 2200 rio, and I spend 15-20 mins to get into one 7-8 key. I suppose with low rio and / or ilvl you have no chances of getting into a M+7.

Delves have been nice. I've also been mega unlucky with the maps. I think I've gotten 3 tops and I've run easily 30+ delves. Probably solid advice on m+. It's not that the gear output is bad from it, it's just that there are better things to do with limited time.

Subjectively, you're wrong. SO in order to get into said +7 - 10 whatever no one is going to bring anyone sub 610 ilvl, the crafted gear is mid at best for most classes minus a weapon and wasting runed crests on a crafted piece this early makes no sense to most. Delves are 100% the way to go for easy gear, the 1 to 2 pieces of crafted gear are cool, however if there's a dps coming into a +7 with any pvp gear on or leveling trinkets they are immediately kicked for trolling. You gotta progress through the M+ levels.

That m+ advice is so bad, nobody invites you to a +7 or higher without you having 610 il and 2k rio. We puggers are happy to complete a +5 in time. Some dungeons are still shitty tuned goodluck.

Can you only do the quest once on an account, Im on an alt and can't get the quest, is it because you bypass the story mode maybe? never mind you just have to do the story around Dornogal for like 10 mins and you can pick it up, Just thought Id share for anyone who was wondering

I have tried this but in dungeon finder I can only find time walking dungeons, I can't do the war within raids yet because my ilvl is too low but also I can't use raid finder for time walking. Chromie also doesn't want to talk to me I have no options there. I have no idea what's going on. I haven't completed the WW story yet. Im just finishing the second zone.
