FEEDBACK FOR DEVS: when it comes to the current gear upgrade system, I feel like having 4-5 different versions of one weapon or trinket etc dilutes the prestige and satisfaction of earning that item. I don’t know if making some “named”’gear more exclusive to Heroic or Mythic is the answer, but I think that would give that prestige back and also give players more motivation to do higher level of content

Delves need to be a real alternative to M+ for gearing, and all roles need a way to participate. Adding the tank spec is great and I'm interested to see how that plays out.

I wish delves didn’t get outscaled so fast :/ as someone who pushes 14s I haven’t done a delve since the first few weeks of the exspansion. And 1/2 the delves I’ve never even been in. There really needs to be a gilded crest and mythic track gear option from delves somehow.

The main issue with Delve is that there is no reason to do level 9,10, 11 delves. They need to have the loot scale with those levels 9th level delve is 606, 10th is 610, 11th is 613.

Good interview. I wish there was a way to cross reference your questions with other interviewers in the future. I listened to this right after the Taliesin/Evitel one and there was like an 80% overlap in info. It makes sense because you’re asking logical questions, but would be cool to be able to get more info out of the devs.

One suggestion for Vault loot in regards to the Crest upgrade system. Having to use your capped upgrade resources to upgrade items from the vault feels a bit off if that week is a spark week, specialy so when mythic track takes 90 crests to craft. If Vault loot dropped at their respective maxed ilvl, that would feel alot better. not having to choose so heavily between crafted upgrades and vault loot. "small" change i think would feel pretty big

would have been nice to talk more about the issues with M+. No questions about the guys who leave in the middle of a dungeon. No questions about the key level drop if you fail to time a dungeon. you can't do anything about people who leave bud , people don't like wasting time , if people know what they do , no one will leave , if u wanna join and start chilling in the back , then expect stuff to go wrong , thats where raider io comes into play , pick experienced players , i think in this whole expac , i realy had less disbands compared to df s3 , which df s 3 was very easy and simple without punishment on deaths realy , unless you start doing +22/24 keys , i would agree about key depletion , that should be asked and should be removed from the game , and for the reward systeme its obvious , its the dopamine playstyle of "ohh damn i got my bis trinket" or even normal upgrade of gear , its gonna be the same , thats the whole concept the the 56ish gold u get , they know what they are doing.

Why not simply put a catchup mechanic into the game for other companiens? Like in SOD. For each 10 level difference to your highest companien the others get like 50% more EP. So if you got a level 60 Brann, the new companien would get 250% EP, 200% and so on until he gets close to the main one. ON TOP you could DOUBLE the EP a lower level companien gets while it is the active one. This would be some sort of high risk, high reward thing. Furthermore this could increase replayability for several players.

Just tie Mythic plus base iLvl to Region Mythic Raiding Progression. Like when 50% of the World First Raiders are at 2/8 the base Mythic Plus 2 gear iLvl goes from like 600 to 603...then when the raiders are 4/8 it jumps up two iLvls (from 603 to 612)...6/8 it goes to 615, and 8/8 it jumps to 623...and then scale the high end gear up to the iLvl of Mythic Raiding (or just slightly below [e.g if Mythic Raid gear is 660 iLvl, then have mythic +10 and beyond drop 650 gear or something...]). I dunno, just my thoughts

Guys, wow needs to redo the mythic plus system entirely. 1. Rewards for all players should be guaranteed if the dungeon is timed. You should receive much more gold for comppleting an m+, around 1000 because repairs. 2. Many players do not enjoy the timed aspect. We need two tracks a. The timed track we have today b. A non timed track where mobs and enemies have more health and do more damage so that we can use those long abandonded cc abilities like polymorph and hex. The player should be able to choose when they enter the key into the pedestal if they want to do a timed or non timed route. This will make everyone happy and non meta specs will have an easier time finding non timed groups.

Solo players should be able to gear the same as a group content player IMO. I despise playing with pugs, they are toxic for the most part. I am tired of playing in a guild, for 2 reasons, firstly if you aren't on when they are on, you miss out, second if you don't perform to a certain standard, you miss out because they don't invite you to run. So, in the long run, if you do not meet the guild criteria or willing to put up with toxic pugs you miss out. I think delves are the best things since games concept, I am now a solo player, CBF with toxicity or guild BS politics, I enjoy playing at my own pace when I want and not to anyone else's agenda, it is a game, not a bloody job. And for delves and solo content I applaud Blizz and I do hope they continue with it maybe look at more solo types game play.

The crests are fucking stupid. Make it once currency, like valor points or something. Make upgrading mythic raid gear cost the most, and make doing mythic raids or muhpluh that drops mythic raid level gear award the most currency so that its just not worht your time to grind daily/weekly content to try and upgrade a mythic gear.

I get DC'd at least once a week and my web is fine, it always happens in a 40 BG and to twist the knife gives me the deserter tag as a free kick in the face. Large group sized content is flaky as, laggy and must be awful for those with a high street PC. Regarding housing, ff14's I love, it works. WoW's problem is it has too many players spread out on too many realms and the addition of, say they do it like 14, who might have x amount of players off in the housing zone doing whatever but when you wander into a city they are packed and busy and populated. WoW's many realms will look deserted and will give the illusion no one is playing.. When you wander into a FF14 city you might come across a group of players who have mastered the music instruments in the game and are putting on a show, WoW has so little reason to visit even the capital nowadays. The games set in it's ways some of which are ..old.

I applaud the effort, but guilds are part of the toxicity in wow. As long as they keep pushing this divide between casual vs mythic it will continue. I play on a server cluster where 1 Guild holds the keys to Mythic, they are Elitist and superToxic! I quit playing all together after KSM/AOTC. Take off the training wheels, quit "time gating content" and making us play how YOU want (Blizzard)! Let us play how we want! get rid of the crest CAPS and let people push!

the main thing that bugs me about retail is how much real world stuff is in the game, i want to immerse myself in the world and nothing takes me out of it more than in-game rumble foil machines, people playing hearthstone in game, the trading post is literally an in game cosmetic shop set up in the town square, the mountain dude? seriously? how am i supposed to feel immersed and connected to my character when my thousand year old elf is standing next to balloons that literally say the world has only existed for 20 years? feels way too commercialized.
