Academy Manufactor would actually give you 3 permanents per vote, so 5 votes equals 5 foods, 5 clues, and 5 treasures on 1 ETB... that's a lot of artifacts and value, holy crap

A really roundabout way of influencing players votes is with Mechanized Production on your clue token. People will change their votes depending on which artifact you have more of allowing you to manipulate the outcome and giving you a less reliable but still fun wincon!

My first ever commander deck was a sphinx tribal yennet deck. Decided to revive it with Tivit at the helm and it has been a blast! It already had a bunch of blink support for multiple sphinx etb’s so it was a easy fit. Total blast to play and turning expropriate into a time stretch+ feels soo powerful especially when illusion of choice goes off with it

I was sad when trying to build a deck around Tivit with the vote theme as a focal point just to find there isn’t a whole lot to build around. BUT you can do what Esper likes to do a lot and that is steal everyone else’s nice things with the vote sub theme. So I’ve named my Tivit deck “Bad Divorce” where I steal from my opponents with cards like ashiok or thief of sanity and card advantage with “wedding ring”. Sure we vote, about the same amount as you get a vote in divorce court when you didn’t sign that prenup

So because of how much Treasure is used I have started putting Magnetic Mine in my decks. Magnetic Mine is a 2 cost artifact that deals 2 damage to any player that has an artifact go to the graveyard. I have had someone make a buttload of Treasure tokens and use them just to die before they won, I did ask them 3 times if they were sure and still did it anyways.

I feel like another good win condition for this deck is Altar of Dementia and either Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or in a longer roundabout setup either The Antiquities War or setting off the ultimate for Tezzeret the Seeker. You're likely to generate far more Clue Tokens (also Food tokens if you're running Academy Manufactor, which you should be) than you could possibly crack using their own ability, why not just use them to deck someone out?

While it's true that they do get exiled. That only happens after they've hit the graveyard. So tokens go to the graveyard and then get immediately exiled, which still leaves rooms for things to trigger from it happening.

with Time Sieve + Closet + 3 opponents you *do* go infinite since you net 5 artifacts per turn (4 people voting and you vote twice). If one of the opponents dies you do need an additional piece to the combo, but by then either you've found your Manufacturer or everyone has surrendered
