Damn just 8 years and the game has changed drastically

Both dragon week videos were awesome! Gave me plenty of ideas. Suggestion for next year's dragon week: Zirilan of the Claw. An underrated commander that loves dragons.

Quick rules check on Deadeye Navigator and its activated ability- you can activate its ability in response to being targeted by removal or a board wipe effect however its ability MUST resolve on the stack before the effect of the removal spell resolves on the stack. Basically, Deadeye can blink in response but he will reenter the battlefield before the spell targeting him will resolve making him a legal target for removal and it will be removed. The only way around this effect is to flicker a creature with an ETB ability that will negate the removal spell on the stack when reentering. Deadeye isn't quite that broken because he immediately returns to play and can't dodge removal or board wipes.

RIOT a little late but I‘ve just spotted this commentary I’m sure you have heard of it in the meantime, but to any player who might still don’t know : Even though the creature returns to the battlefield before the removal spell resolves, Deadeye Navigator (DN) dodges it. When you cast your removal, you HAVE TO give it a target AT THAT MOMENT. Then DN make that target DISAPEAR when it exiles it. Indeed, when the creature returns, it is treated as a *new object*, and so isn’t the same that was targeted by the removal. Thus, the spell, doesn’t remove the creature because it doesn’t see it on the battlefield anymore, as it was replaced with a « new one ». And if it had only this one as a target, the spell fizzles. So yes, DN protects both itself and the creature it is paired with from targeted removal. If you have enough mana, it can protect your entire board by exiling itself and choosing to pair itself with a creature targeted un order to protect it, and do as such for each targeted creature. This would cost a lot of mana and wouldn’t work against non-targeted removal such as boardwipes though.

I've build a Dragon Tribal with Intet as commander. not very strong but super fun and a all-time favourite in my playgroup for it's flavor

Why have only 8k people watched this video? This is the deck Jimmy played on one of the most popular game knights videos.

My main deck I play is Intet, I made a very different deck that was inspired by seeing Intet on Game Knights. I would love to see an updated version on another episode. It's a shame we didn't see much performance of Intet in that game. It's such a fun commander.

Make Beeble Week where you make beeble tribal EDH decks.

Cold storage? for both this deck and scion, in the '''cards you might not think of section''.

the thing you were thinking of is a wordsearch?

any reason why you didn't get Gratuitous Violence? It makes your creatures hit hard. And just YOUR creatures.
@dragonofthesky99999 жыл бұрын
also, its a "word search"

Scourge of Valkas + kicked Rite of Rep? That's thirty simultaneous triggers for six damage apiece dished out as you choose, not including the possibility of Doubling Season, Dragon Tempest, or just having more dragons fielded. 180 damage or more ought to be plenty to knock a player or two out. xD

you BOTH forgot one of the best cheating out cards you can put in your deck how was he not in your "cards you did not think of" shop.tcgplayer.com/magic/commanders-arsenal/maelstrom-wanderer
@commandcast9 жыл бұрын
Michael Langdon Maelstrom Wanderer is incredibly good in almost any deck that can play his colors. He's definitely a star in my Animar deck, but you're right, perhaps he has a better home in Intet. I was trying to make it as Dragon tribal as possible which is maybe why he was not originally included in the list. -jimmy

i can agree with that but that double cascade to cheat out 2 dragons ALONG with cheating him out for 3 mana as well is just TOO good
