I love it. I have over 25 years of varied experience and used the 45 second rule to summarize my travels and bring it to what I hope for from the current role interviewing for. Part of this was that I was a natural fit but your coaching got me a confirmation that my next interview was with the CEO. I used to be too verbose with my history and this helped me to frame it all succinctly, positively to fit with the application.

To those about to go through the process, use this as your guiding light. Make sure you master all these common questions and have at least 10 stories/situations for behavioral questions. I prepared with less than 24 hours so it is possible. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO DO!! Props to you sir for guiding me!

I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*

Long story short, I watched this video and the other more in depth ones, and I not only got offered the job I wanted, but at the compensation I was asking for! If you use these and prep, 100% it will help you! The strengths / why should we hire you question was asked a lot at my interviews. (There were 2 rounds). I was also asked to provide a lot of work experience examples and the story preparation advice helped me a lot!

Had an interview for a job I was really excited and was well qualified for. I'm usually pretty good with interviews and I am extremely extroverted and have a great personality however I found this particular job, had me quite anxious as like I stated it was really an ideal/dream position that I have been trying for, for a very long time. Needless to say, after going through a few of your videos I not only aced it and got the job, but also got a starting wage of more than what they were initially looking to pay out as an entry level position! Thanks for this video and wish me luck...Even in a worst case scenario, I'm going to go ahead, keep this list and keep adding questions/answers to it for future interviews. I come from a large family with sharp toxic tongues and I have learned that when you are dealing with something/someone that makes you nervous or anxious, it is best to prepare yourself for the "moment" with ammunition. In other words, know what you are going to say, before they get a chance to talk. I like it. Just hope that they don't watch your webcasts!!

This is a great overview of important questions that we all should be prepared to answer! How would you answer this? "Tell me about some of the most difficult problems you worked on and how you solved them." (Perhaphs like question number 10) I find it difficult, because the hardest issues in life I have dealt with are never job related. It's always in personal life and maybe partly financial. But that does not feel like a satisfying answer. I'm a developer and I never got huge issues that are worth telling a story. The answer I can think of right now: "if I do not know how to solve an issue I spend hours learning something or asking people around." (But this feels like a incomplete answer too) Your videos have helped me find a job 10 months ago! And I keep watching the content because its so informative. Thank you for what you do!
