Ingredients: 3 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts salt (to taste) black pepper (to taste) flour (enough to lightly coat chicken) 4 TBSP butter 4-5 garlic cloves 3 TBSP honey 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar 1 TBSP soy sauce 1-2 TBSP parsley Tools used: Silicone tip tongs Wooden spatula large cast iron skillet

Making this right now and my mouth is watering at the aroma the garlic, honey, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar make when cooking together 🤤🤤 I can’t wait to eat tonight! Thank you for sharing!

Would like to add that if you take it out of the fridge, let it sit in the brine(salt and pepper) for at least an hour in room temperature. Otherwise it won't cook evenly. Also the brine needs to get into the meat so rub the salt and pepper into the "cracks" you cut with the knife. Makes a huge difference. Also dip it in flour right before putting it on the pan, otherwise the meat with absorb it too much if you leave it on for more than 5 minutes. Another thing is timing the cooking on each side perfectly so it doesn't dry out the chicken. Meaning if you take it out of the pan, the meat will cook inside for another 5 minutes. Meaning you can take the meat out when the inside is still not ready, but WILL BE ready after 5 minutes on the plate. Granted here you can kind of circumvent that by doing those deep cuts into the meat, so you can kind of see inside of the meat and that tells you better when to stop cooking it.

I just tried it and it's pretty stupendous! I wish I could do without the honey & flour to make it a bit more keto-friendly, but honestly the honey adds such a great flavour and the flour crisps up so nicely in the butter, it's worth the extra carbs.

i made this recipe but gluten free, replacing reg flour w/bob 1 to 1 gluten free flour, replacing soy w/coconut aminos. i added sautéed onions and use green onion instead of parsley. It was delicious,y husband loved it!!

Wow! I love making criss-cross cuts in my chicken too. The meat really absorbs all the spices and flavor. I cooked chicken file a few days ago. I marinated it overnight. I had marinated the chicken with sour cream and spices. Hope for a new video soon. ❤❤❤

I'm not a great cook and this turned out perfect. The smell while cooking was enough to make is all hungry. An instant read thermometer is your friend with chicken since the pieces can be different sizes.

DELISH! I made this last night for me and my hubby, it was so moist & flavorful! I subbed Worcestershire sauce for the soy, added some hot red pepper flakes, so good!

Our chicken breast was thick. After browning, ended up slicing into thick strips to cook faster. Served over chicken and garlic rice-a-roni with diced green pepper added.

Not a chef so don’t take this as pro tip but put your chicken breast into a gallon bag, drizzle a little oil in with it so you don’t tear the chicken too much, then pound the thicker part with anything you have: wine bottle, meat tenderizer etc. it doesn’t matter how thin it is as long as the entire breast is the same thickness therefore it cooks evenly.

Were the strips good? Did they get cooked for less time? I like the idea of strips since everybody likes a different amount of chicken anyway.

@@MemorySparksJoy strips were fine, didn't feel like pounding the chicken. Cut across the grain, and don't overcook.

I substituted liquid aminos for soy sauce thinking it wouldn’t make much of a difference but the flavor is very unusual. Mix of tangy, sweet, and salty. I left a few pieces plain without the final sauce and they turned out better left alone.

Similar to many vids. Was looking for something different. It's a good recipe. Simple, quick and tasty. It's not a recipe that "pops" with flavor by itself. I would recommend minced garlic and/or double the garlic to get the garlic flavor. That could just be the garlic lovin Italian in me.

Bread it in advance put it in fridge 1--3 hrs...temp your oil evenly. Use a non stick pan

I followed the exact instructions by cooking each side for 4 minutes and it still looked raw inside, therefore had to put in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Cause there's no way it would've been evenly cooked when simmered down. I don't know what it is, but something ain't right..

I think the creator meant to cook it for 3-4min in each side again..cause for me it helped

You have to let it sit outside in room temp for an hour with the salt and pepper. Loads of recipes don't tell you that. Makes a huge difference. I can't believe so many videos fail to tell that.
