I hope they do this New x-men good. They need too give us Solo projects for Some characters. A solo Wolverine, solo cyclops, solo rogue, solo storm, solo jean grey and a project that tells the story of them. Those are gonna be the main members to start of with. Then later we see others join in the x-men movies like jubilee, nightcrawler, Gambit, ice man, collosess. We get a wolverine and professor x and Magneto project first, then a jean grey, storm and cyclops project. Then we get a x-men movie where wolverine, rogue and beast are introduced to the team. @6:29 - On Kang...Jonathan Majors has recently been absolved of the charges the woman falsely accused him of. And with the next batch of Marvel movies still a bit of a ways off I think they have a good enough window that they can still use Majors and his former Kang character. Or since AMATHW:Q failed so miserably they can still use Majors for the Immortus aspect of the Kang character and still do whatever storyline they had lined up.

I would like to see a “Wolverine & the X-men” rendition, so we can still have the OG Wolverine but have X-23 mentored by him, maybe even his “ultimate” son James Howlett jr being introduced as the future male Wolverine counterpart. I think if you look at Multiverse of Madness Marvel clearly originally wanted the villian to be Doom and the story to revolve around Doom, Dr Strange and Wanda but if we take Marvel at their word they were ao impressed by Jon Majors they reworked the whole saga to service Kang. This was simply another attempt by Marvel to do something more original so we couldn't predict the events of the saga beat for beat . So Doom was always their backup and there Is set up for him in phase 4 and 5 . The problem in your logic however comes down to we just spent two phases anticipating the council of Kangs . Marvel is not going to handwave that away. Thats like Marvel coming out and saying "Sorry for wasting your time and hard earned money for 5 years" . Its not happening .
