Nestled near Shipston on Stour and just north of Moreton in Marsh, Todenham is a lovely hidden gem, worth visiting in the Cotswolds.

Robin, the village is interesting and, as you mentioned, deserves more attention and preservation of its two historical sites. That some of the local residents welcomed your visit is proof they are proud of their quaint Cotswold village! Once again, thanks for your presentation and drone footage!!👍🇺🇸

Beautiful village 😊😊 but a shame about the decaying pub and church, those two institutions are the historical heart and liver of a village…sad 😔

I like that village. I wish I could live there and prune and clean up the church yard. It’s so charming. Thank you.

Very kind of you to leave dogs at home when it’s so hot!! Kudos to you! I see so many people taking their poor panting dogs with them and the dogs are obviously not enjoying walking on pavement that is much too hot for their little feet. As always a very enjoyable tour! Thank you!

You have done hard work,Tode ham ,with its green meadows and cottages surrounded by hedges is heart moving. The mention of this village in 4ad ,the passing through various events to Edward the confessor and to Westminster and then to Cromwell is its late story. Its worth while place for visitor

I have developed a new way of taking walks in the evenings --- I play these episodes and Robin's narrations on my phone earbuds while I walk and pretend that the local village in Ireland where I live is the subject of the episode! 😉😄

I hope this video will prompt people to help the church and pub! So sad when places are left to slowly rot away.

So very sad about the beautiful little village. It is my hope that it will be noticed and visited by more people and someone who would take a chance and reopen the Farriers Arms. I read about it and it sounds like it has a beautiful interior.

It is a shame to find places run-down and looking tired. I do hope these kind of places don't fall victim to developers. Lovely place. Thanks for sharing!

Yet another wonderfully compiled "episode". Having lived in a remote part (I think you know) of the Cotswolds, I sometimes wonder and fear the return to tourism.

Absolutely fabulous. Please continue to explore. As an add on. Purely selfish on my part and maybe too much to ask but you do visit a lot of churches with graveyards attached. And I just wonder if you might via subscriber's requests give a quick glance to names. I'm Phipps Bermingham.

I know that there are many people who when they think The Costwolds, imagine a place of retirement for Londoners with nothing better to do...however for me, it's so idyllic, perfumed, romantic ( unchanged ) you could say, that it evokes days of pure happiness in my childhood ; and that cannot be paid with money!!

I would expect of you to avoid negative comments about a village and it’s neglect without the facts. But even saying you learned that, you’re still doing it with the tombs. You’re better than that.
