The city of Medellín is the most beautiful city that Colombia has because of its mountainous nature, its food, its friendly people, its atmosphere. The most touristy areas are the restaurants that are viewpoints and Provenza, you have to go to the viewpoints to enjoy the nature and the food. which is very rich.🇨🇴🇨🇴I would like them to continue making videos in the city of Medellín to show how beautiful Colombia is. Make spectacular videos so that more people see the videos.

Thanks guys! I was there in 2016 and some of those projects were just getting started, so it's very nice to see how well they've progressed. Medellín has done an incredible job revitalizing their city! After my visit, I took combis and buses down through Colombia stopping in Jardín, Manizales, and Popoyan-- highly recommend, if you keep on going. Looking forward to where you go next!

I'm moving there next month. I'm not old enough to get a retirement visa (ya gotta b 65) but you can stay 90 days and get a 90-day extension per calendar year. I'm going to scoot around to Costa Rica and other nearby destinations to flesh out my yearly quotas. I must say, I'm most excited about this place (El Poblado and Laureles, primarily) and maybe when I get old enough, l can do something more permanent and fulfilling. MEDELLIN is fascinating, you have to visit it in August for the flower fair, which is beautiful, or in December to enjoy its Christmas lights, which are the best in all of Latin America and are among the top 10 in the world according to NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, even in 2022. They were made in collaboration with DISNEY, that's how relevant they are.

The ride up is nice, but you are warned not get off in any of stops and venture into the different neighborhoods. Enough with the rose glasses. In Medellin you are told to carry your backpack in your front, not on your back by the police in downtown, in the morning

I just found this video today, and will have to subscribe to your channel! My gf and I spent a week in Medellin a couple years ago, she actually lives 8-9 months of the year in Ecuador, so is familiar with that area. But I want to say two things here! One, I love your presentation, very upbeat, draws the viewer right into it. And two, when we wee there, we also took the cable car to Parque Arvi, were amazed to look down and see all those houses, families living on that hillside! But I so remember those transfer stations you show here, the metro ride to Acevedo stop to get there, brings back such memories to me! But what I mostly wanted to say is that on our way back down from Parque Arvi, instead of just jumping on the next cable car to go the ret of the way, we spent maybe a couple hours walking around Santo Domingo! Facinating little town/suburb, whatever it is, lol! Spent months traveling around Antioquia and Jardín is BY FAR the most beautiful town in Colombia. Take the 3.5 hour bus from Medellin from south terminal. Stay between 8th and 13th st in Jardín.
