Think about how many years you’ve lived in a world without the Allman Brothers Band. And now you have found them! Welcome to a whole new world! Incredible bunch of musicians, and Gregg Allman probably the greatest white blues singer that ever lived. I’ve been playing in an Allman Brothers tribute band for nearly 23 years for good reason! These guys have soul through every bone in their bodies. Zeppelin is still my favorite band of all time but I can’t imagine if the Allman Brothers never existed. Totally unique as well. Looking forward to more reactions to both of those bands! Rock on!

Listen to the live album “Filmore East” every song is great and on video. They were arguably the first Southern Rock band but also are bluesy and jazzy. Try songs Statesboro Blues and One Way Out. You will love them all.

You two are good - Gregg and Duane Allman were incredible blues/rock writers/performers. The emotions are real!! Like all good music, hiphop, rock, blues, whatever - if the band is decent and the commitment to the feel and music is genuine, you are going to like it. This band stood out in a VERY deep pool of blues/rock talent in the '70's. Also, Gregg was married to Cher and had a son before splitting in 1992.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Allman Brothers Band this band has a special place in my heart. We lost the lead guitarist, Duane Allman, to a tragic motorcycle accident. Gregg Allman is the lead singer and plays the keyboards. He has one of the smoothest and most soulful voice, and he delivers such power and passion through his vocal delivery, it's just crazy good stuff, beautiful tunes🎶 Here's another one of their songs " Allman Brothers - Melissa" get ready to be swept off your feet with beautiful acoustics and heart stopping southern bluesy goodness 💙🎸 I really enjoy your reactions, thanks for sharing 👍 ❤

Awesome reaction !!! So happy you enjoyed this group. They are one of my favorites. However, you NEED to hear the At Fillmore East version. It's longer and much better than this, if you can believe that. In fact, I'm the kind of person that almost always suggest you *_ALWAYS_* listen to the studio version first, then live, but there are a few groups that are exceptions to this rule ... Allman Brothers is one of them. So, if you're going to listen to ANY Allman Brothers songs in the future, the suggested order that you should follow when searching should be: 1. At Fillmore East 2. Eat A Peach 3. Brothers and Sisters 4. Any the remaining studio albums or versions you can find That will get you the best possible version of the song you can find. So, if you really, REALLY loved this song, you HAVE TO have a listen to the At Fillmore East version. BTW, some of the songs on the Eat A Peach album actually came from At Fillmore East concerts, but they had too many to choose from and that album got filled up, so some of the additional songs found their way to the Eat A Peach album like, One Way Out ... a FANTASTIC song that I highly recommend !!!
