My first experience of beer was absolutely 2 of my dad’s stubbies - probably called something like “Brasserie de Belgie”… I was actually ID checked for Bass Shandy in a cornershop when I was 14. I tried to explain it was legal but it was the South Wales Valleys and the shopkeeper was really thick.
