sweet, that cooler will end up being clogged with dirt/mud/debris from the road. Also I'd personally tuck up the fittings to prevent a snag if wheeling or just hitting debris on the road. Nice build tho!
@Gomar893 ай бұрын
Literally was thinking same thing when I seen where the cooler was. He did say he’s going to change the fittings to 120s he only had 90s. But yeah definitely should move it and tuck up lines better

yeah, that oil cooler on the wheel well won't survive very long or won't be very effective... might do something, but having a frame blocking the airflow and a wheel throwing rocks and pebbles at a plastic fan like a damn golf course... yeah, i don't know Craig

My Brother in Christ, a few questions, if you'd be so kind as to answer them. 1. How old were you when you started having such an interest in cars? 2. As a fellow Mechanical Engineer (Half way through my Bachelors) I am 24 years old, and this stuff is extremely interesting to me. I know nothing about cars. Very minor mechanical repairs have been made to my current car, but I really enjoy the challenge. What courses would you recommend I take to dip my toes in the water a little on the automotive side of things? 3. Is it too late to pursue an automotive emphasis in my future career if I know close to nothing about cars? Sick car. sick channel. Sick stache. If you would hire me I would work for you.

dude that lil radiator and fan are way too close to the tire. you hit a bump while turning right in that massive truck and it'll hit it for sure. At least from this angle
@jaynecobb67113 ай бұрын
Mounting anything inside the wheel well isn't a good idea. Mud, dirt, water everything the tires will pick up will destroy that cooler in short order.

Man that thing is cool. I'm kinda pissed, I've always been a square chevy gut, and you and Ford Era have made me question my life decisions 😡. I like diesel swaps, but there is something right about an old truck with big block gas powered exhaust, rights all the wrongs in the world for a moment.

Ditch the derale pwm. They’re garbage. I’ve gone back and forth with them over a defective unit for months. Lots of similar experiences online. Just run the controller from Holley or use a Dakota digital fan controller. Derale fans are good but pwm is trash.
