I'm 67. The '90s were the last true decade of live and let live freedom. 9/11/2001 changed all that. Left the big city in 1990 and started this chapter of life and have never looked back. Dolores voice was unique and not like anyone else's. This was obviously filmed in the USA. The motel does seem familiar and of course the 1973-77 Chevelle rings a few bells.

I mean this isn't none existent in today's music. The "Sound of Silence" video from disturbed has a very nice story to it. "Heavy" by Linkin Park has a very hard hitting and moving narrative. And if you want something more in line with the genre of The Cranberries there's "Love Song" that video has a cute little narrative along with the lyrics. I can't remember the artists full name. He first name is Sarah. Just a few examples. Most narrative use in music today(with pop anyway) is very boring though. It's usually all about break ups or falling in love or a struggling relationship. Rinse and repeat. Just thought I would give my thoughts on this.

I'll always regret not going to the concert, I wanted to go but my boyfriend at the time said he didn't want to go. I should have gone alone or taken a friend. This was one of the first songs that got me through a dark time. And still gets me through dark times. A mother's love is ceaseless, it is never ending. I now know what she means about the animal instinct in us mothers. Her music will live on forever.
