How Good Is the Genmitsu 40404-Pro Max? Setup and Test Results!

Machine is amazing. I recommend this for anyone who wants to start doing CNC woodwork hoby. I have 4040Pro a year now and i upgraded to new XZ axis kit (MAX) and it is beast now. Much less vibrations in Z axis. I am recommending one more piece of wood underneath those two original MDF boards to completely support bed and get rid of any deflection during machining.

Flexible wasteboard has been a problem with FoxAlien and other machines fror long time. Support board underneath helps

I’d highly recommend a t-track or customize to a single sheet. Thought about flipping over and attaching some steel T supports to the underside. Thanks for watching!

Yes! About $250-300 difference! This is a much more rigid machine than the last.

I’m definitely pro FA. The availability of upgrades and expansion is going to be better. Honestly I would go with the XE-Pro
