I originally learned this technique as ' rock n roll'. I must admit I like that the daubers give a more controlled second layer of ink on the stamp. Much more subtle. Thanks for the demo; I liked all three cards shown!

I'm a dork and have never been good at the rock'nroll technique, so think the dauber will be easier for me, thank you! Love all these cards. Both "bravery" sentiments are so pretty, but like that rich razzleberry stands out more. Think that card would make a great sympathy card, too, and the gray granite would be good for that.

OH, DENA, ANOTHER “TERRIFIC” VIDEO! So LOVE BOTH of the cards!!! Liked that you began with the “HAPPY TROPICAL” DESIGN (I live in Madison, Wi, so this is a “most welcomed thought” of “days to come”!! ). I can still see the design w/other dies (perhaps floral) as I don’t have the TROPICAL CHIC set~~and I was also thinking a Lemon Lime Twist base would be cute, too! The PAINTED SEASONS is also TERRIFIC! LOVED the different ways you shared on getting the “duo” color effect.....and I TOTALLY think the “SPONGE DAUBERS” was SO MUCH BETTER.....just loved the ‘softer” effect! As for sentiment choices....hhhmmmm?? ......I’m thinking rather than the gray use perhaps “a pink” w/same background layer?? Or a coral??? So that the sentiment would be a “tad” bolder...tough!! .....HOWEVER, I DID like BOTH of your color palettes! My vote, tho; goes to the GRAY sentiment! And the gray ribbon really brings it together! Just always enjoy your videos...and ideas...and cheerful presentations! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’!
