Its a very common practice for people of color navigating several spaces. It’s called code switching.

I talked like her, it's on purpose, like she goes between general american, hispanic and NY accent. I do except i'm from Florida, so I have a Floridian accent.

Created by Cristal Yep, exactly. Like when she starts talking about anything to do with her home the Harlem accent comes out, but when she's touching on complex topics like feminism she code switches.

I love her so much. I've been coming across beautiful, spiritual energy, and I would like to thank my thoughts for that. My thoughts often wander to wanting better energy around me. I do think the universe gives you what you want/need, and affirming it within yourself allows you to notice what would usually slip past your view. Princess Nokia is one of the entities I am thankful for, and I'm so glad seeing everyone feel the same. Tbh idk why I decided to go on this little tangent. :-) point is, thank you to the beautiful souls who put this together.

Actually the Spanish not only fantasized the native women in Central America they first wiped us out with disease and war in the end we had a low population by the time we were enslaved and then Spanish started to take indigenous women as wives are mistresses but mainly just rapping so it's not as different as she thinks but overall I love this interview

I come back to this time and time again. Sometimes just to calm myself into sleep at night. The world is horrible, men are predatory and mostly just driven by sexual self satisfaction. With all this disturbance, listening to this interview comforts me. Destiny is my superhero, my big sister in my head, she makes me feel like I am not alone and that I can survive and hopefully one day thrive in this world. Thank you for conducting this. The interviewer is super duper awesome too ❤️💗💜💙💛

I need this today 🙏❤ When she spoke on certain subjects I want to cry. She knows how to word a situation so perfectly. I felt like it was me again at that age going through it. Stuff I try to push down or hide that I've been through. Never forget though because those are the things that have made me who I am today.. the mother the friend the sister the lover the artist the protector the hustler. Every circumstance that tried to break me built me. 100🌻
