Tip for Aleks to help with his farm: Placing a block above a source of water will prevent it from turning to ice. I live on top of a mountain on my own AMPLIFIED map, so I have to use this strategy all the time.

According to the minecraft wiki the player's terminal velocity is 145 kilometers/hour, which is 45 m/s. Snow does not generate in the extreme hills biomes of minecraft until 95 blocks up, which is the equivalent of 95 meters. Assuming the water Aleks jumped into is at layer 0 that means he fell that distance. He falls from 16:49 to 16:53 so he fell for a little less than 4 seconds. We divide 95 meters by 4 seconds to get an AVERAGE velocity of 23.75. The formula for average velocity is the final velocity minus the initial velocity all divide by 2 or (vf - vi)/2. Since he fell from rest, initial velocity is zero so we can say vf/2 = 23.75. Solving for Alek's final velocity we get 47.5 m/s, which means he did reach the terminal velocity for minecraft. I know that 47.5>45, which would break the logic of terminal velocity, but this error probably comes from 4 seconds was only a rough estimate so Alek's probably did not actually go 47.5, but he did a velocity around minecraft's terminal velocity for players.

It was nice to be able to see the full scale of Sly's home. He's done a lot of work and it looks great. I really hope to be able to see all their homes finished this time. It seems like they'll be amazing. Dan's is coming along nicely, too. I'd love to see where Seamus is planning to take his house/building next. I hope Aleks gets the chance to show off his building skills, too. And for Jordan to make the Carl. And, as for James, I'm really curious about his Desert Rose idea and I hope he continues it. I just thought, after the excessive hate or complaining comments, it would be nice to throw out a supportive comment to all of The Creatures. There's been a lot of mean stuff tossed around and I wouldn't want any of them to feel bad(despite them, most likely, ignoring mean comments). Just thought I'd add a positive note and eagerly await the creative side reemerging rather than the struggle/fighting side(though, that can and is very entertaining at times). You guys are amazing. :)

Aleks was falling for roughly 4 seconds, which would put his velocity at about 39 meters per second. The terminal velocity for a skydiver in the free fall position is 54 m/s, so no, he wasn't at terminal velocity. He would need to fall for 1.5 more seconds, or around 64 meters (blocks) higher. Of course, this is all assuming that Minecraft gravity/wind resistance works the same way real physics do. They probably don't.

Aleks only fell for like 4 seconds or slightly less, gravity on earth (minecraft gravity isn't too far off from real life) calculates at 9.8 m/s additive every second so his velocity is 39.2 m/s. Assuming he was trying to dive belly first like skydivers do, he did not reach terminal velocity since it is 54 m/s. HOWEVER Aleks is a creature CAT. A cat's terminal velocity is half of a humans and often times non-lethal. So if in this instance he is a cat, at 27 m/s, he reached terminal velocity.

Aleks was around 256ft (around 78m) from the water based on how long it took him to hit the ground (4 seconds). He accelerates at 9.8m/s so by the time he hit the water he was going around 39m/s. That equates to around 128ft/s, 7,680ft/min, or 460,800ft/hr. This would be equal to around 87mi/hr (or 140km/hr), and considering that terminal velocity is anywhere from 195km/hr to 320km/hr (122mi/hr to 200mi/hr), Aleks wasn't going terminal velocity, but he was going faster than a car on an American highway when he hit the water and an average person would've died if he attempted that jump.
