@Yeastextract When I first saw screenshots of the show i literally thought it was some weird-offshoot-scifi movie, then I saw the "Star Wars" heading and was flabbergasted. Modern Star Wars doesn't look/feel like "Star Wars" AT ALL, besides the fact it obviously looks like a CGI infused polished Hollywood movie set 99% of the time in these shows and the movies, it doesn't have that gritty-used for hundreds if not thousands of years-'WW2 meets the wild west in space' feel that the original games and Star Wars media as a whole had up until recently. Even the prequels had that feeling, albeit not as good due the horrendous and abundant use of CGI, but the OG trilogy and Battlefront games had this in spades.

As RobotHead and Echo Chamberlain pointed out, there's another girl character who is NOT a tomboy, but still conducts herself in a masculine manner, slouches in a way to show she's the big swingin' D in the room, cringes and rolls her eyes whenever boys speak, finds so much joy in running circles around the boys in every skillset, and of course is just naturally gifted and talented without any explanation as to how. Same trope, just children now. This is harmful to both boys and girls. But yeah, even if everyone was raving about this show, I still wouldn't watch it. Completely done with all Disney Star Wars. To be a true fan and still watch what they put out is setting yourself to be played. It's like staying in an abusive relationship after you've already given them so many chances.

The only decent thing they created was Rogue One, in my opinion.
