When i watched this show I mistook all her self absorbed ignroance from this scene as being how she would improve as a person as the story progressed. She would realise all her petty complaints are minor in the greater scheme of things. But that didnt happen, at least i dont think it did, I didnt pay enough attention.

These celebrities keep talking about Trump blowing up the world while Biden is trying to do it right now and Trump talking about how we’re going to end these wars. They really think the public is stupid.

Watching all the avengers on that call makes me wish that Thanos won in Endgame.

I'm currently watching this season.. they forced a gay storyline on frenchie and turned MM into an unlikeable, militant asshole that makes people call him sir while he treats everyone like trash. It's all so forced that it's distracting. Definitely the weakest season. Hopefully they cancel before it's REALLY ruined.

a. Well, you're not American, so the female Native American hunter/ warrior thing flies past you. That's okay; it's an American thing. b. I didn't mind the lack of character development because of the stoic nature of the period. It was refreshing not to have dialog and a bunch of bullshit chatter. c. The ending sucked. I wanted her to return to the village exhausted, hurt, and with a tear in her eye, wondering why she ever wanted to be a warrior. Rewriting the last 15 minutes of the movie would have made it much better, but that's true for most movies.

Hot take, but I hated Sofia’s portrayal in this show. She’s much less evil than she was in the comics, and they changed her origin story to place all the blame for her actions on Carmine. I never felt bad for her, because it was so clear that the writers pussed out and didn’t want a female villain that was actually evil. The lead writer even admitted to this in an interview.

The Acolyte was a crap show, original content not looking to emulate- never was there a direction they had to follow and they still ended up with real bad, bad writing and plot holes... I did watch Rings of Power and it did have some silly drama stuff, but I only had a problem with Galadriel's character, and I do want to see another season, and I will watch it. I did not read the Similairian, but I am engaged by the entertainment by itself. I get Prime Video anyway, so I watch when I like the content..

The franchise had gone so far off the rails since it's inception back in the 70's that the younger generations weren't going to be interested in it since they haven't seen the originals like we did, Drinker. Other than the Alien Isolation game there was no way to get back to what made the series amazing unless kids dusted off their parents VHS tapes and Googled how to use a VCR. This was a throwback of sorts - albeit for "modern audiences" to try and do for them what the originals did for us, and it looks like it worked. Not as good as the classics were, but what ever is? Got some more movies greenlit, which won't be as good either, but wouldn't you rather watch a bad Ridley Scott Aliens movie than any of the modern woke crap made anymore? I would...
