You need to isolate those chickens that are getting pecked until they heal. If you don’t, the others will continue to peck them until they die. Also, if you bury a feeding trough half way in the ground, it will work for the pigs.

Jason. Looks great buddy. But the above subscriber is correct about Pyrenees hips. Constant jumping is bad for herding and livestock dogs. They can get hip displysia. I'm sure I spelled that wrong. Keep up the good work Crocker's and Adam. It's looking great! Ps. After finishing video i didnt see anywhere that would be bad for the dogs. But she is correct about there hips

If you think a feed room is a game changer wait until you finally decide to have your 60 acres feed your animals and notice the amount of money you’ll save. Portable electric net fencing (premiere 1) allows you to make pastures as big or as small as you want and just move the animals to a new pasture once they eat down the one they’re in.

My grandpa always raised pigs....he built his own troughs and fixed them to the inside of the wooden fence. (So they wouldn't get knocked over) And whenever we had leftovers, after a meal, my grandma would tell me, "Here, go give this slop to the hogs". 😅. Good memories!!

Good spot for a barn cat, it's kitten season , rescue a couple of kittens both same sex or that you spay or neuter... I volunteered for humane Society a lot and it's so sad what the thousand's of kittens are abandoned or turn feral. Barn cats are a must have with feed around and , I remember the rats get as big as a small dog down there😱. Mouser will be a life saver for y'all.

What i want to say is i was very unsure if Daniel could do this but every video i get more impressed in her. She just works so hard at whatever is needed on the ranch. I grew up in the country and don't think i could keep up with her.

I have a question, does anyone ever put those big industrial fans run by solar on each end of the barn to circulate air through for you and the animals? I remember they had them in the dorms at summer camp. ( No AC at camp). It did a good job keeping those big dorms cool.

Not loving those dogs by making them jump like that. They will be lame and in pain at an old age. There is also the possibility they will need hip replacements - no joke - from being forced to jump like that every day. I've seen it happen to ignorant dog owners in my own life, and those dogs were in PAIN every single day and could barely walk around from the wear and tear on their hips. The pure laziness of Jason Crocker not wanting to open a door and close it behind the dogs to feed them is disgusting.

The feed room is a game changer bringing the nesting box for the hens great idea. The straw can be used as mulch around all plants and trees. Fresh grass clipping I would gather some how put it in the barn or close and let the chickens make compost for you.
@SharonAcord
@SharonAcord 11 ай бұрын
Tip: for your GARDEN, I recommend spreading out straw on the soil. It helps keep some of the moisture in the soil PLUS it prevents "Mud Splash" on your plants.....tomatoes are very susceptible to mud splash, which causes Blight on the plants/tomatoes.....

So let Adam know in the future to use the closed end of the box end wrench to tighten a bolt. It provides more lock up and prevents stripping out of the bolt compared to using the open end of the wrench. Just explaining, not complaining here folks. The open end should be used to lightly seat the bolt and the closed end (round side of the wrench) is to tighten and fully seat the bolt so it does not get stripped out/damaged.

Could you make some kind of a ramp with sides that you could lean on the fence and have it long enough to go in the door of the are you need it so you can drop the dirt on the ramp and have it flow right in the doorway? I probably didn't explain very well but it would save a ton of work! Love watching the Crockers and the Ranch hand too!
