To me, the stand-out is exactly what Dave talks about; not just the sacrifice he is prepared to make for his wife, and his kids, and his marriage, but the sacrifices already made by Ashley and how pivotal her role has been in a chapter of their lives together that involved compromise and just that little bit of heartache. To see her selfless love return to her tenfold is truly inspirational.

Not so fadt. I bet Ashley doesn't really want to sacrifice the best years of her adulthood to be a stay-at-home mommy and handmade to hubs. But because she was raised to say she believes in doing this, she's afraid to express her true thoughts and sentiments for fear of losing her husband's and mom's approval. Think for yourself, Ashley. You can be a great mom AND have a successful career, too. Just look at Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett!

@@MH-be6hr You could be very wrong. We are all different. You are judging on your feelings. I have raised a family and worked. I can tell you that I agree with David. Looking back on my life, the very best times of my life were all about family. My grandparents, growing up as the eldest of a fairly poor large family, and most of all raising my kids. I absolutely love my family and have zero regrets over being a stay at home mom. My hubby at one time was an over the road truck driver. I would sacrifice my income gladly so that I could be there 100% for the kids when he was gone. I also went back to work to put my entire paycheck into the hobby of my youngest...showing horses. I funded it almost 100% but whenever I could, I was home with the kids. That does change as they are older but I stayed home until they went to school. That is a bond like no other and worth any so called sacrifice. Give me a choice of a career and keeping a home and family and it is no contest. Finances is why most mom's go to work not necessarily that they felt trapped at home. The way inflation is and the fact that we feel the need to supply a lot of unnecessary things for our kids, it can not often be done on a single wage. There is a lot to be said for being able to provide a clean, healthy homelike for their children, providing the things only a mom can do....help with homework, warm cookies and a comforting hug when they get home. You don't get that at day care. I would do it exactly the same if I did it over.

WOW! I'm speechless for you guys, and the fact that our stories are so similar! My husband and I have been married for 13 years. 7 years ago, we moved our family from Maryland to Louisiana because we were unable to make ends meet any longer. My husband got a job offer that we couldnt turn down but I was heart broken to leave all of my family behind. My husband has been working remotely for his company since covid happened and they finally offered him a permanent work from home position, so we are moving back home! Well almost, we are moving to Pennsylvania, an hour from all my family. Thats nothing compared to 19 hours. Whats even crazier is that Ive been listening to Claires lil voice to help bring me out of my heart ache from being away from my family. Her beautiful little voice has helped give me hope in all of my dark days. We are moving in 2 weeks to start our new adventure! You could see how deep the need was in the car driving over there when she commented that she would live wherever they needed to (words to that affect) - her expression went from a normal smile to a sad smile and her eyes were sad as well. So to shift from the grief of compromising on something so large to the realization that you understood the depth of her need and were pivoting to support her...wow! She probably still hasn't fully absorbed it. P.S. I appreciate the way you told her - I realize it makes for a great video but it also created a sense of wonder for her and your children -and that's the most important part of it all.

Construct a spacious single story rambler with no steps or basement; wide hallways & doorways; flexible & bouncy floors; big closets; large walk-in combo showers & seated baths with grab bars; high toilets with grab bars; wheelchair accessible lavatories; adjustable kitchen counters, sinks, & appliances; wide exterior walkways with easy access from inside to a large driveway. Think old age mobility and accessibility...and enjoy the decades in your new home!

In these crazy times of social influencers, there are a few I follow who are actually wonderful people. I do get pulled in to some insanity out there but this little family always pulls me back to where I belong. In my opinion, if being an influencer is your only source of income, you get in to the muddy territories of life. This family is definitely not in the mud. Watch if you need a bit of centering today. This is SO beautiful! This is what marriage is ultimately supposed to be. Give and take and making sacrifices, even though the bumps along the way. People these days run to get a divorce the second they don’t see eye to eye on stupid stuff rather than making things work and understanding that marriage takes balances and making the other half happy. Marriage isn’t meant to be perfect and it will be turbulent sometimes, but when you make life beautiful beyond that, you selflessly work through those tough spots. Those couples who run for divorce are missing out on the beauty of life and family which the Crosby family gets to share by making it all work somehow!

So moved by this video!! Happy tears falling for the Crosby family and Ashley's family too. Now Ashley's mom and dad and sisters can enjoy being with the Crosby family and enjoying those precious grandchildren too. Also...Ashley gets to live on the property she loves that belonged to her Aunt. So excited for both families. Such a sweet and loving surprise for Ashley. The kids will love living out in the country too...It's a win win for everybody. So very thoughtful to do that for Ashley after all those precious babies she gave birth to and the sacrifices she made 👶 💕 but that is what couples do for each other... they make sacrifices and love each other. Can't help but love all the Crosby family too❤️🥰
