I know. I wish I had a friend to knock around with the way these guys do. Very fortunate to have good friends like these. Meanwhile - can anyone tell me how such lovely crystals can form in red mud like this? I'm trying to learn and study but can't figure out how this all works. Do they grow for a thousand years or are they formed quickly in days or weeks when conditions are supreme?
@darcybrowne54215 жыл бұрын

@@donnavorce8856 Its because when magma becames warmer the components of the magma will spread.. this is why a rock have different minerals in it.. sometimes minerals in a rock are not different but are the same .. when a rock is formed by the same mineral he becames a crystal .. and not a rock .. why a crystal is in the mud? because water with rain take off some rocks from mountains to the rivers, so sometimes u can get those crystals also near rivers.. other times vulcanic explosions simply put them out , other times the movement of the crust and the plates of the crust will take them off from the land, from the lithosphere.. im not english i tryed to talk better as i can

Those were beautiful! We went on vacation years ago to Spruce Pines, North Carolina to the old Tiffany mines where you buy buckets of dirt & you go thru them & clean off everything to see what you have. I found a huge very dark purple amethyst among emeralds, rubies, aqua marine etc... I had it cut & set in a necklace & it was 16 carats after cutting! It's beautiful & so dark it almost looks black! I can imagine how thrilling it would be to actually find them like you did.

I have watched The Crystal Collector for almost 6 years, and in the past I had many critiques that I kept to myself whilst never commenting on any video till now. Keeping my silence has helped me to watch you grow as a crystal prospector, and even evaluate myself many time to make corrections. You have come very far in 6 years even if you don't realize it. I find myself at awe with your techniques and understanding of extractions for crystals compared to 6 years ago. Keep up the good work lad!! Get you some of those shiny nom noms!!! XD EDIT: I also wear a flat cap! XD That is too ironic. I would also like to note that your friend is very charming in his character. I couldn't think of a better person to be mucking out a hole with me.

The thumbs down are people who have been at sites to see the truth. These people who do the videos like this guy get the special treatment. They and only them get to dig in the good stuff. The general public dig in the BS piles while owners or managers take these people to the good veins of gems, crystals, and minerals. You will never get to do this unless you personally know someone who can get you the "Special Deal Treatment"! I've been twice and seen it happen with my own eyes.
