Yeah, Lee is really gorgeous as a woman and also a very handsome man. He doesn't look a bit like Calpernia Addams, of course, but it's a tour de force performance. If this movie doesn't break your heart into a million pieces, then you obviously don't have a heart. If the love scenes don't make your ears catch fire, then you're dead inside.

I haven't seen this film, but I have seen the documentary, and seen Calpernia on other things. There is so much that is sad about this! Its tragic that a promising young soldier is dead and that another is living his life in prison as the result. Its tragic that anyone even felt entitled to take issue with who Barry's girlfriend was. It is unfair that Barry and Calpernia did not have the chance to see where their relationship would go.
