Massive congratulations on 1331 days without alcohol, you are a great advert for for not drinking. The things you can achieve and feel with a clear head need to to be promoted more. This is the thing I struggle with, but you are an inspiration. The break did you good Thomas.

This ride was so fast I had to watch it twice in a row. Saw your Strava stats earlier and was looking forward to this one. Incredible effort riding that fast, keeping on top of fueling and even manage to film. That guy behind you @6:17 when you mentioned your speed.He had to double check his computer😄😄 Unfortunately no pastels and coffee on this one😅 Great job 👏

282w avg power for almost 4hr? That’s insane. Well done and congrats on your “new legs”
@ruiloureiro31673 ай бұрын
Not to take any merit out, but that is just Strava’s estimate (without a power meter), considering the rider is riding solo, his weight, etc. If you get in the back of the peloton or maybe the middle of the bunch, you can keep up with less than 200w av. power for the whole ride. Not saying it is easy, but it’s not that savage.

and finally you landed in the crazy TGV ahah , nice dudes and really fast pacers, you have some granfondo winners over there and some ex-pro's now and then, true said that in portugal ( i mentioned this to you last week ) there are no fuc** given in road ethics , when the group is large all road occupied etc , this is a bad practice and in portugal will never change. is the only thing that made me feel unconfortable when riden with them :) ( i did several times) ! now, regarding the fastest, they are the fastest, at least for that side of the country t, but there is other groups in the north that have pro riders that are flying under the radar :) keep up the good work!

Well done, they seemed a really good bunch of people. And swift too, unless we stuck to A roads, here in Dorset we don't have routes to accommodate that size of bunch. To average that speed, with a big bunch like that you need big roads and space. Great that you have got your legs back. Have you had a big uptake on you cycling holidays venture?
