🫂 Oh dude I actually have a video script called "I have nothing to say about Cowboy Bebop" ruminating on that haha Obv I've said my piece about KZbin success elsewhere, I have the same experience of frequent comments about my size (haha it actually sounds objectifying when put that way), but I especially felt the same about my GATSU vid exploding as you did Bocchi. This was a great rumination! Here's to ten more (or gosh that's kind of a lot lmao idk a few more at least!) 😄

Regarding the whole "being "small" for x years" or "playing the numbers game" stuff, it additionally disregards the "real" change you can do. As a miserably failed german anime channel who started 5 years ago (pls don't look at my sub count) your and Joe's video really changed how I look at anime/art in general, and I also got creatively motivated, whenever you uploaded something new. I also occasionally rewatch a video of yours and still really enjoy them. Although I personally gave up on german anime KZbin, partially because the discourse is still stuck where the english Community was in 2011, your stuff is still inspirational to me. Thank you for being yourself and looking forward to your future videos!

the first thing when I thought about "TheCynicClinic" is a person who insane enough to get a check up on clinic every single day. in all seriousness although I've only follow you for like 5 years+ (the first video that I watched is the Azumanga Daioh review) your video helped me see anime in a different light and your style of video is super fun to watch, hell I bet if you make a video about a Painting of a House it would still be a great video. keep up the great work, another 10 years of greatness. I hope you still remember the quote where you said "Because Jesus is a brown man", that line is still stuck in my head even to this day.

I started watching this channel with the Anime Lip Sync video, and without a doubt, every video I've found interesting. I appreciate that perspective, to only make something if you've got something worth saying. And the videos you've made have definitely enriched the way I think about anime. I'm grateful for them. Congratulations on ten years!

I genuinely think if you made a little more content centered on things that perpetually get traffic (like seasonal anime as an example) in time a larger audience will hopefully get funneled to your incredible channel. Much like with your Bocchi the Rock video, just share your thoughts and unique take on a show that you genuinely find interesting 😊 With your already established professional quality and style of video, it’s not hard to see your channel blowing up in the future! I wish you the best, because I really love your entertaining/ informative style of content!

Speaking as a person who haven't been following you throughout the years, but rather binge watched your channel kinda recently: visual aspect is what you do good; and your quirky sense of humor. These two would be your defining traits for me. I stumbled upon your videos by chance, looking through the content of anitube. Stayed for the video essays like "People Don't Know How to Talk About Animation" and "Anime's Hidden Four Act Story Structure". Which are good edutainment in my opinion. You've pointed out the importance of delivering a single unique take on a show. That's what Digibro once said. Surely, the more unique a person's take is, the more niche their audience will be. Ultimately, some things only make sense for people who conceived them. Nice table.)

I actually thought the meaning of your channel name was the one you call a reimagining. Fighting cynicism is something that I've been trying to do for a while now, so it was pretty coincidental I ran into this channel. Anyways keep it up, you're doing great stuff.

A bittersweet video to watch, but I am glad you're ultimately in a positive place with regards to your feelings on what the channel means to you. Like many others have said, your videos have really occupied a niche that I simply can't find anywhere else and it's no surprise to me that the subs you do have will line up and listen to you talk about anything. For me, the way you discuss anime has unlocked a deeper appreciation for the medium as a whole and greater interest in understanding the context in which these shows are made. I used to avoid talking about anime with other friends because even though we liked all the same things, the conversations we could have about them felt very limited to the most surface level of topics. However, since discovering your channel, I feel like I've been able to have so many more interesting conversations about anime because your videos (and the sources you've cited/linked) have provided me with a solid foundational understanding of the medium that I've been missing all my anime-watching life. It really sucks that the content and the pace at which you produce are never going to really work in your favor when it comes to "The Algorithm" and how its own tools consistently remind you of that, but I, selfishly, hope that you continue to do so. I think I've always wanted your channel to blow up simply because that means you'd be less likely to get discouraged and stop making videos. However, your new perspective on what success means to you has made me less anxious about that. That being said, I will still continue to share and mention your channel whenever I can :) Thanks, Jayden!

This video echoes a lot of my own YT journey. I find it so valuable to have a creative outlet to make well-made videos about stuff you’re passionate about first and foremost and if people connect with it, then that’s just the cherry on top! I wish you the best - keep doin what you love.

Obligatory "omedetou!" round of applause for the big 10! You are always in my top 5 'go to' creators for anyone who wants to get into anime youtube, and have been for a long time - like you I am a damn old, having been recommending anitubers since the digi days. Your place in the ''history of anitube' is secure no matter what you do in the future; I hope you keep enjoying the work and feel motivated to share with us!

Having only recently discovered your channel it's just reminded me of disappointing youtube recommendations can be sometimes. I often find myself in a situation of looking for new recommendations, just to be met with same videos/channels/topics not matter how many times I tell them to not recommend me some videos. It's also very weird how some videos are in the recommendations for days while others disappear after one (accidental) refresh. However I'm glad you are able to find positives in the creative endeavors. I heard someone say that being creative is one of the things which makes humans special and I'd like to think they were right.

First up, congratulations. I discovered your channel a while ago and seeing your work evolve has been great. Second, it's easy to become cynical about the things we do and/or like. I'm glad that your videos (along with other similar channels) make me appreciate and curious not just about anime but its connections with not just other artforms but also other aspects of life. For that, the clinic has accomplish its goal. Thank you, Jayden.

tecnically, ive been on youtube culture for 10 years, too. my first video from 10 years ago was cringe, tho XD I started taking it more seriously in 2017ish cant tell you how much I resonate with so much of the stuff you shared here. from the confidence struggles from lack of grow, to burnout to all the youtube stress, I feel you. and I'm glad you're here. its comforting to see someone who "didn't make it" in the traditional sense of the world but is still around and cares for the craft. I don't always comment, but I'm always around. watching :3 I look forward to everything you bring forth in the future. i hope to one day have as nice as a community as you were able to built ^^
