completely agree, and regardless of the age of the car. I myself have a BMW 1 series 2017, i tend to wash it every two weeks, weather dependent here in the U.K. Whenever i visit my mother and the weather is good, I wash her car which is a 2004 car. Also since there's sentimental connection, since as a family that car has been with us since, so having that connection does make it more satisfying when going through the wash process. Very therapeutic.

This may sound stupid, but in your opinion, are the pressure washers at self-service stations generally safe as far as their PSI? For example, do you think the PSI of pressure washers at self-service stations is generally safe to use?
@TheDailyDriven9 ай бұрын
Not as stupid question at all. The pressure from those machine should be fine as long as you keep it a safe distance away from the paint. There's no reason to put the pressure washer wand up close to the paint.

@uhdobo72 жыл бұрын
@@Ninowitdavibez Use one bucket with soap solution for washing, then use the second bucket with water and a grit guard to rinse and scrub dirt/debris off the wash mitt after you scrub each panel of the car. This avoids rubbing the dirt you just washed off into the next section
@blevin5693 жыл бұрын
Looks great. How safe would you say a one bucket wash is vs 2? I only have 1 and think this is my best shot (apartment complex). I just want to avoid swirls if I can.
@TheDailyDriven3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, you'll never be able to avoid swirls but taking the proper wash methods will help on minimizing new swirls. One bucket is ok but having the two bucket method is extremely beneficial. Since you live in a apartment complex, check out Optimum No Rise. Good waterless wash you can use when the car isnt' too dirty.

Do you fill the bucket with water and then take it to the self wash bay? Does it fit in the trunk?

The best ideal way to do it would be to fill the water up beforehand so you're not wasting time throwing up the buckets. You would also want a wash bucket with a gamma seal. I believe there's some links in the description for all that

There also another product that treats that which is called Hydes Serum Rust Stopper. That I Have not tired yet. Another way is to drive it down the block and ease in on the brakes. Hey man, got a question, so when (in what phase) do you use Sonax and when Bead Maker?
@TheDailyDriven2 жыл бұрын
The Sonax Spray and Seal would be used after you washed the car. The product is water activated so you would need the car to be wet. All you need to do is spray it onto the car liberally and then hose it off. I would not use beadmaker during this wash but the next wash since you already put on the Spray and Seal. The Spray and seal is something I would use every 3 months or so if you want.
@NikosAnimals2 жыл бұрын
so you only use the rinse??? What are the eight other things on that dial, so confused
@TheDailyDriven2 жыл бұрын
Most of the other options on the dials are high PH level chemicals that I personally wouldn't use. If you're really particular about you car, you would use the wash bay solely for the water.
@Itspiyerr3 жыл бұрын
Do you recommend using a foam brush? Or the soap from the carwash?
@TheDailyDriven3 жыл бұрын
I honestly wouldn't recommend using them. The soap that is provided has a high PH level that will in time take away from any wax or sealant on your vehicle. The foam brush is abrasive and just filled with dirt. Most of the dirt never gets cleaned out and that will definitely scratch your paint. A way to think about it is, imagine using a community tooth brush. Lol.
