denise’s travel story 🥺❤ it’s super annoying when people think true colours is when someone has reached their limit.. would love to have a partner that can stand their ground and articulate their emotions as well as denise 💖

john chua bro, you're idealising the homeless thing - no one wants to be homeless there, and homelessness is a massive problem cuz most of it is because of drugs and mental illness, not so much losing money from taking risks. it's dangerous for the locals too because of the mental problems thing, not to mention the peeing and shitting in the streets. getting pushed onto train tracks, getting beaten up/robbed, etc. it's a failure of blue city policies. it's interesting when you're visiting, but not when you're living there - if you're rich enough, you want to be as far away from it as possible.

and that thing about migrating to America for the America dream.... what did you think our grandparents/great grandparents/great great grandparents did. same what. unless you're local Malay, most were migrants who came with the hope of a better life.

It's really important not to trust people too much when overseas. I have friend's friend's went to Hong Kong with two kids and come back alone. Also lost a huge sum of money to gang to find her kids.

Wah Dan is the worst kind of friend to travel with tho. that is not cin cai, that is lazy to contribute. Never contribute and brainstorm where to go, but complain and picky and during the trip. If you take time to look through the plan beforehand instead of on the date of the trip, that will be so much better / more helpful instead of Pek Chek at your partner for having a loop hole in their planning on the trip.

From ur title I tot it was similar to tt changi airport incident where the wife tore into her unfaithful hb who went on holiday w his music student-mistress. Sleep No More sounds v intriguing… I might want to try tt w hb someday (wo kid in tow)…😬😑 As for holiday conflicts, I hv this to say: pple w 2 drastically different budgets SHD NVR TRAVEL TOG. 2 of my closest frens travelled to Europe tog & were v different twds ea other after cmg bk. They argued over several issues of safety n security, budgetary constraints, as well as food preferences. $$$ affects one LOTS whenever overseas. It cn truly make or break a holiday so choose ur travel companion wisely. Hb n I don’t hv major conflicts bcos we hv always been quite disciplined n conservative in spending, especially when overseas (exorbitant exchange rates on credit cards & extra taxes like GST, PST etc). We r used to being thrifty for decades so nowadays, we r more opened to using our hard-earned $ to enjoy our lives tog a bit. Especially since hvg a kid. One cn hardly be thrifty bringing their kid to Disneyland for the childhood rides of their lifetime. Try ur best to b on the same page as ea other & agree to disagree on some vastly different perspectives. Holidays r still meant to b enjoyable n inspiring, not torturous. 💪🤗🙏
