@christophercomtois71752 ай бұрын
Finally. We have been saying no screaming it for years
@beebuzz9592 ай бұрын
I don't know that I'd say complicit, but they're playing nice and expecting the other side that is well known to do the opposite of, to do so too. Kinda like bringing a knife to a gunfight and expecting them not to shoot until they get close enough to stab. It's hard for me to be mad at them trying to follow the rules respectfully, especially when the press eats them up when they take any sidesteps from that, and we know the outcome of that is they lose. They also don't necessarily know who's going to win, and if they don't behave that way beforehand, there could also be ethics committees. I know they still aren't fighting the right way, I'm just saying they're trying to respect the laws and Congress, without realizing the outcomes. They need to fight differently, and maybe they were foolish to not realize republicans would be so brazen. But they also didn't always have the power to do so, or foresee what republicans would do. So that doesn't exactly make them complicit. The media also isn't on their side, so they don't get the microphone or sane-washing on a mass scale republicans do, and the media also frames them negatively. They'd be seen as horrific if they behaved the way republicans do. If that's complicit, I guess we all are because we all could do more. But yeah, they've been too trusting, possibly, and need to fight differently.

The demonization of Trump and his supporters was very much taking the low road--and that's why they lost
@macdaddynick17512 ай бұрын
Please explain “high road” give 6 examples of high road Dems took. Use them in the sentence. Was it a high road not having primaries? Was it a high road to call a guy Fascist and scaring everyone but then changing the narrative on a dime? Was it a high road to pretend the person you’re putting forth is sharp as a tack and then changing your mind when people found out he isn’t? Paying for endorsements? I mean I can go on and on. Democrats took so many “high roads” that people chose to vote for a felon fascist who’s going to prevent us from voting in the future. Stop Coping seek accountability of your party. They have failed miserably, because they took no high roads in this election. This is not really about the republicans, because democrats won them an election by doing exact opposite of what they pretended to stand for.
@ChonkUm2 ай бұрын
This is the problem, and why the Democratic party lost so bad. They have done the opposite of take the high road for the last decade. They tried to sell a lie of hatred, based on hatred of their own. Every one of those lies was a hoax in and amongst itself, when you add them all up together, you can understand how mainstream media lost their credibility a long time ago, with people that aren't as dug in to a side, and just want an unbiased reporting of what's going on. Instead of understanding that doubling down on fear-mongering on mainstream media, only made them more of a joke on social media. Every single lie can now be fact checked in real time. Instead of realizing that, and trying to understand the internet's impact on the election, they just spent millions on celebrities who they felt had the most influence on social media. That obviously only made it worse to the discerning eye. Eating a slice of humble pie, now that the majority of Americans have laid down a mandate, is called maturity, and it's totally fair. Acting like now you have a right to take the gloves off, is just as fugazi is everything that got them in this situation in the first place. Until they understand this, say will keep losing. The Establishment showed its full hand, in their attempts to destroy their opponent. America watched. If mainstream media has made you hate your fellow Americans, and feel like they're the ones you need to be at war with, then you have taken the bait hook line and sinker. Take two trips to the mirror, and call us in the morning.

He caved on so many of his original proposals for the ACA to appear “bipartisan”. The GOP wouldn’t have gone along with the ACA if it was a cure for cancer, stop pretending like you need to compromise, because they sure wouldn’t have. I live in MN, and when Walz won reelection in 2022, it came with slim majorities in the House and Senate and he absolutely ran with it. The amount of people I know who voted for Trump who are now coming to me and saying "well I didn't know he wanted to do ________" is depressingly high. Maybe they should have thought about it more 2 weeks ago.

@@CoupeCluker-Not understanding how tariffs work -Thinking he was for some reason less pro-Israel than Biden -Not knowing he, his VP, his campaign, etc. have all said they are going to cut support from Ukraine and, according to his campaign staff, Gabbard, Gaetz, etc., that Ukraine is "in no position to make demands" which obviously means any ceasefire is going to be on Russia's terms -Not knowing that he raised the debt in his first term 2x the amount Biden did -Not knowing that prices for things in Jan 2020(pre-Covid) were higher than they were in 2016(Obama) and realizing the "Are you better off now than 4 years ago?" question was dumb -Some bought into rightwing social media memes that Trump was only going to deport criminals, not every illegal despite Trump himself saying 40+ times this year alone that he was going to deport ALL of the illegals. And much more. There's a reason "Can I change my vote?" was one of the top google searches last week.
