Personally I just feel right wing propaganda is much better than left wing propaganda. They have fox news and russian bots working around the clock. What do the left have? Who on the left wing is pumping out lies about republicans eating cats and dogs on a regular basis? No one. You can't win an election with facts when the other side are constantly saying "the Clinton's are lizard people, obama is from Kenya, Harris wants only trans people to win at the Olympics" etc etc. It's not a fair fight.

democrats came out with their conservative colors and lost over 10 million votes to the ether, of course the DNC's blue dog dems that ran this election are now blaming trans people, because they are just as bad as GOP fascists. I feel bad for my trans siblings that voted for the Dems only to be blamed the next day, but also, that's what you get for voting for a geno- and ecocidal party, betrayal.

This happens in a lot more areas than politics. When giving an engineering estimate there is a very wide margin of error... just way too many unknowns (often fundamental project goals are unknown). But the number itself and not the range or margin of error is what sticks. How could this project be 50% over budget? Easy, the estimate had a 4x margin of error at the time, we are well within initial estimates. That doesn't fly, but it is the truth.

Exactly, I don't know where this talk of a total blowout is coming from in the media, in the electoral college it was decisive. But each of the swing states was won by like 1 or 2 points. The popular vote currently is a 50-48 split. Ignoring the 2 seat they were expected to lose, dems lost 1, maybe 2, senate seats. They re on track to maybe lose only a couple of house seats. Sure dems lost a lot of support (that's why they lost), but this still looks statistically like the race we knew we were getting going into the election (a 50-50 race with a 3% margin of error), just on the disappointing end of the spectrum of possibilities.

That's been straight out of the Democratic playbook for ages. Create a problem, and then try to convince voters that we need them to fix it. Do you really think the Democrats want the issue of Abortion settled? Of course not. There would be one less topic to argue about that needs fixing by them. Trump already fixed it by giving the issue back to the states, but they don't want that. The same as school shootings, and the border. The last thing they want is for those issues to go away.

An important issue indirectly highlighted by this material is that the Democrats tried to win by simply saying what they thought people wanted to hear. However, in the end, they disregarded the very people they were supposed to represent. They focused on the tools and means to secure victory, rather than on the "customers"-the American people. This is yet another example of why you cannot rely on politics; politicians do not care about you, only about your vote, and they will humiliate themselves in any way to get it.

And where’d it go? I’m in a flyover red state, but some of that money must have trickled down to us. Despite whatever Pennie’s the local office got all I’ve seen were signs and the rare radio ad. Outside of politically inclined folks, I don’t think anyone here particularly cared for her, not out of hate or because they preferred Trump, but she really has been a literal who for 4 years and stayed a who this year. People know who Trump is though, everyone left, right up, and down know of Trump. I’m actually kinda mad that much money was raised, it didn’t amount to anything while Trump held a relatively shoestring budget making hats people will instantly recognize. What was Kamala’s slogan or message? Don’t look it up, just tell me you don’t know.

Umm sir, they don’t get paid to knock on doors. The campaign pays for hotels for a lot of volunteers. I signed up to knock doors in Michigan. I paid to travel to Chicago to meet up with a group and then they paid to bus us to Michigan, this was a group of people from all over the mid west, and then paid for our hotel rooms and getting us back to Chicago. I didn’t make any money, I just didn’t have to spend money to volunteer
