I spent almost a decade at Montgomery, AL Police Department. If Tommy Tubberville thinks that NYC courtroom is depressing than he’s never been in the Montgomery Municipal Courtroom, the County Circuit/district Court or the Federal Courthouse in Montgomery which is the literal capitol of AL. Because they are gross, run down, and depressing AF and NYC has nothing on them.

As someone working at a TV station, I was sent to one of the most secure courtrooms in The Netherlands once. It might not be poorly maintained, but walls as thick as 60 cm's, with bars inside and out, triple layered glass panes near the outside and the inside, along with a host of other maximum security features is also not one of the nicest courtrooms to be in. (The reason for this heavy reinforcement of the facility is because it was attacked with an anti-tank weapon once).
