I miss the days that the airlines would offer first class upgrades (if the seats were available) at the gate for around a hundred dollars cause I would do it every time. First class was so much nicer than coach. Have fun in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Super jealous! I would love to be in that area right now. That place got in my blood stream and has become a favorite of mine.

I seldom fly and have never flown with my 90 year old, disabled mom until last week. I moved her from Myrtle Beach to an assisted living facility near me in Columbus Ohio. No direct flight, so we flew American and had to switch planes in Charlotte. I didn't pay too much attention to the surroundings as the next flight was already boarding. Thank you for showing me some of what I missed at the Charlotte Airport! Mom likes your videos, too.

I've seen that sculpture of Dolly Parton in Sevierville. Love the area! I have family that lives in Maryville. There are the base of the Smoky Mountains so it was a nice drive up to Pigeon Forge. I loved going to Pigeon Forge in October to see the change of seasons. The leaves were beautiful! I attempted to go to Pigeon Forge during Christmas time and it rained the whole time I was up there. I wanted to see Dollywood all decorated but I was pretty much stuck in my hotel room the entire time. I only drove through Gatlinburg but never stopped. Hopefully one day, I'll go back. Have an awesome time!

We have fallen in love with the Knoxville area. Planning a move to Oak Ridge area soon! I love Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge areas, but don't wish to live in such touristy places. Lots of cool history and nice little town of Oak Ridge. You might check it out some time.

Love the opening. I haven't caught a video for awhile because I went camping at Calico for Halloween. What a blast! I didn't do the Pumpkin Mayhem hours but you have to cover it Adam. No one else has! They have overlays on the mine ride, the mine tour and the mystery house.

Your landing in Knoxville reminds me of the time when my Dad and I went to Bozeman Montana. landed at midnight, last flight of the day. nothing was open. We had to bum a ride from some nice local person to get to our hotel. Memories!!!

I have flown in and out of Charlotte a number of times when going to visit my father in law who lives in Hendersonville NC not a bad airport at all decent food options if you need to grab a bite on a layover check in on the progress of the Buc Ees they are building as well 😁. I love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge also if you haven't make a side trip over and take a drive down 129 the tail of the Dragon we make the trek down with our motorcycles each year to ride all the amazing roads in the area it is beautiful

We use tsa precheck and we always sit front row on spirit. Love the big seats and leg room. We’re doing the middle section on delta on an upcoming flight supposed to have 4 extra inches of leg room. We’ll see

We were just there last week. Stayed at the Dollywood resort. They have already decorated for Christmas. Its sooooo pretty! Went to dollywood too for the first time and also the Alcatraz East Museum and Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge. Very cool! Vlogged it as well. Have a great time!

That was cool seeing the Downtown Charlotte backdrop at night. I never was able to see that the bazillion times I landed at that airport on layovers. I would be flying in there from the Northeast or coming back up from the Southeast. You obviously had a different direction going west to east. Some of those terminals are wicked long too, you lucked out on that.
